If I could give negative stars, I would. We hired Zoe’s Kitchen to cater a beautiful, elegant bridal shower on November 16, 2024, paying $2,250 for food and beverages. What we got instead was a comedy of errors—except nobody was laughing.
On the day of the event, he informed us that he had overbooked another event on the same day and, to make matters worse, had written down the wrong date for our bridal shower.
Despite his apologies, his lack of preparation and accountability left us scrambling. Instead of delivering the elegant dinner we had contracted him for—especially important since we had out-of-town guests expecting a well-planned meal—his "solution" was to suggest that we go to BJ’s, Costco, or a farmer’s market to buy food last minute. This was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Nothing says bridal elegance like bulk frozen food and grocery store snack platters.
Now, as you can see, my first instinct wasn’t to run to Google Reviews or social media. I gave this business owner every opportunity to correct his wrongs. Yet, here we are in March 2025, and the issue still hasn’t been resolved.
To this day, we have yet to receive a full refund, and his follow-up has been extremely poor. If you are looking for a reliable caterer who values their clients and their commitments, I highly recommend...
Read moreThe husband and I were in town for a show and this gem just happened to be directly across from our venue. We decided to give it a shot, mostly based on convenience and we could not have chosen better, for any reason! The place is small but doesn't feel crowded. The staff were all so kind and friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. We started out with delicious, refreshing strawberry margaritas, and were surprised with a house round of something called a "green tea shot" which is now a new favorite drink! As for the food, It. Was. Fantastic. I had the rib burger with truffle fries and my husband had catfish and mashed potatoes. Every bite of every thing we had was heaven. The burger was juicy and so flavorful. The bun had some sort of magical honey butter brushed on top or something similar and the fries were the perfect level of crispy. I tend to like truffle fries overall but these were hit with juuuuust enough truffle and salt. The catfish was cooked very well, had a nice crunch, and I am not sure what all they do to their mashed potatoes but keep it up! They were amazing.
We don't travel too often but rest assured that we are 100% coming back out next time through Nashville!
Thanks for the great service and even...
Read moreIt was a God thing. It appeared on my wife’s phone after church and she made the reservation. Hard to find after. They need a Facebook page. We got there early and they sat us. Two people ran the whole operation with confidence. It started to fill up as we ordered. I remained calm as the dynamic duo put us at ease letting us know the drinks were on the way while ordering the food from a big table. Then while bringing out the food to the big table he said 9 minutes to get your food, he said with a calm voice. Our drinks were amazing. I loved my old fashion as you could taste the alcohol and not overpowered with sugar. When the food came out.. Let me repeat, when the food came out my tastebuds were screaming with delight. Best collard greens ever. They could rename the place collard greens from heaven. My wife ordered one chicken wing because she wanted to taste it. He brought two so we both could taste it. Best jerk chicken wing ever! Jamaica could learn a thing or two from chef Zo. My salmon was amazing. Sweet potato with cognac was perfect. If they opened one in Gallatin I would not be...
