Iâm writing to express my extreme disappointment with our recent experience on the Rowdy Bus, which didnât match what was advertised on your site. There are several key issues that significantly impacted our night:
First, the BYOB policy was misleading. We brought our own liquor, as instructed, but the bartender informed us she couldnât serve it because it was pre-made. Nowhere on the website did it state anything about restrictions on pre-made alcohol or mixing drinks with Coke bottles. We even brought them separately, exactly as described, but were told well after our departure time that nothing we had was acceptable. This should have been made clear on your site.
We were also expecting a DJ, as the site promised, but both the driver and bartender seemed confused when we asked about it. We had no choice but to use the aux cord ourselves, which interrupted our ability to take photos or videos since every time we changed a song, it cut out the music. This is not what was advertised, and it was frustrating to have to manage that ourselves.
The explanation about your liquor license and what could or couldnât be served was very unclear. We were told that you could serve beer and mixed drinks containing vodka, but not anything else we brought. If the drinks need to be poured into cups for legal reasons, how would police know whatâs in those cups? It doesnât make sense that you could serve certain drinks but not others under these same conditions.
The bartender didnât even join the bus until 20 minutes after our scheduled departure, and we ended up leaving after 9:00 PM instead of at 8:40 PM as planned. Even then, she only informed us after the fact that our drinks werenât allowed. She let us drink what we brought before leaving, but then removed the rest from the bus. This delayed us considerably, and on top of that, we didnât even get the full two hours we were promised.
The route itself was disappointing as well. We went down Broadway briefly, stopped at a bar off the strip (which wasnât mentioned beforehand) that only served moonshine and whiskey, and then took side streets back to the bus yard. This wasnât what we expected or were told to anticipate, and it was an odd experience overall.
The bus wasnât partially covered, as advertised; it was fully covered, which is just another example of the misleading information on your site. Everyone in our 16-person group was extremely disappointed, and some even wanted to get off and request a refund midway through the trip. We ultimately stayed to try and make the best of it, but it wasnât the experience we had hoped for.
The driver was friendly, and I donât blame the bartender for any of thisâshe was just doing her jobâbut the way your service is marketed and whatâs actually delivered are completely different. We feel like we wasted our time and money on something that was not as advertised. Given how much we spent, we could have booked a true private party bus through a limo company and had a far better experience.
Everyone in our group agreed that they would not book with Rowdy Bus again. I strongly suggest that you update your website to accurately reflect what you offer, as it is misleading in its...
Read moreI was super disappointed in this bus experience. We came on excited to celebrate a friends birthday and were left feeling unsafe and frustrated by our tour guide. To start, our bartender wasnât engaging at all. Iâve done a few of these tours and usually the guide is there to ensure everyone is safe and also be outgoing bringing good vibes to make sure everyone is having fun. He unfortunately wasnât doing either. Him not being âfunâ would have been no problem though since we were going to have a good time within our group regardless! The problem came when halfway through our tour, one of the girls was having an emergency and he refused to let her off the bus. I totally understand that there are policies in place with tours like this( even though half of us never even signed a waiver agreeing to any rules) however he was not trying to be helpful at all and was escalating the situation while giving us no options. We went from asking, to begging, to having to outright demand to be let off. It was really uncomfortable for all of us. She was in the back of the bus sobbing and having a panic attack and he was giving no alternative options even though the bus was making complete stops for long periods of time, he would not open the door. We were apologizing to the other bus goers and trying to remain considerate while also letting him know he canât continue to hold her hostage through an emergency. FINALLY, he got approval from his boss to let us all off and end the tour for us there which we were more than happy to do. I wish the situation was handled better, I just donât think our guide knew how to handle high stress situations which is super important in...
Read moreThe Lowlight of Our Trip â Unprofessional & Disorganized (Especially Justin)
Really shocked at the positive reviews on here, which leads me to believe most of them are fake. My friend booked Rowdy Bus Tours for my bachelorette party, and we were expecting a fun and memorable experience. Instead, this ended up being the lowlight of our entire trip.
Only hours before our scheduled private two-hour tour, Justin told us that they had overbooked our time slot. Rather than taking responsibility for their mistake, they gave us three terrible options: reschedule for another day (which wasnât possible for our group), share our private tour with strangers, or cancel for a refundâwith absolutely no apology or effort to make it right. When we tried to discuss options, Justin was rude and dismissive, making it clear that customer service was not a priority.
Since we had already planned our night around this, we reluctantly went forward with the tourâhuge mistake. Instead of the full two-hour experience we paid for, we got less than 50 minutes. To top it off, for the last 15 minutes, they parked the bus in a gravel parking lot, and their staff aggressively approached us, demanding we turn off the music. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely ruined the vibe.
For a company that claims to offer a fun, rowdy experience, they delivered the opposite. Their complete lack of professionalism, disorganization, and terrible customer service made this tour a waste of time and money. If you're looking for a fun party bus experience in Nashville, go elsewhere. Rowdy Bus Tours does not deserve your business and is a complete ripoff and falsely advertises their...
