Abe's Corner Boutique — Local services in Nashville

I love this store! I’ve been shopping here since they were at the white building! I was here Saturday in the morning. I witnessed the owner tell a girl more than once to bring the clothes back to the counter and when she asked where the clothes were. a woman showed up saying she was rude. she wasn’t apart of the conversation and did not know the girl. Which I thought was crazy because the woman didn’t even know if the girl stole something or damaged the store’s property. The woman followed the owner around saying she’s rude and wagging her finger in the owners face, I have never seen the owner get mad before. I feel bad for the owner so I decided to write a good review. Her stores amazing and the prices are great! You can get shirts for $19 and I love the tank tops. She has Island Dresses which I use to go to bed. I’ve had some of her clothes for over 10 years have not torn or gone bad. Pretty sure the woman wanted to start a fight, the owner was speaking very politely to the girl. She wasn’t upset or raising her voice until the other woman started harassing her. I came in here with my family today. While looking at the jewelry and soaps, my five year old daughter picked up a children’s umbrella to look at and one of the employees came and snatched the umbrella out of her hand and shoved it back on the shelf. She then got between my daughter and the shelf shoving her out of the way and started forcefully organizing the soaps which were in the same order as when we arrived. I then asked the employee if children were not allowed in the store and she ignored my question. So I said “excuse me, ma’am, are children not allowed in the store?” She then started to say that “Mom and Dads don’t watch their kids and it makes more work for us employees.” Meanwhile both my husband and I were on either side of our children watching every movement. She continued to talk and make excuses so I told the kids to set down their purchases and we left. It was probably the worst experience I have had as a parent in a store and definitely my worst experience in Nashville. I will never set foot back in this store again.

Lady owner was rude this past weekend to multiple customers and their kids, to the point that all the customers in the store including myself had to literally drop our items and get out of the store. She had a temper tantrum, being rude, pressuring clients not to try on items. Multiple clients were taken off by that but her behavior and screaming did it in for us all!
