My interaction with the store manager was unpleasant. I intended to initiate a return which unfortunately fell beyond the grace period. I purchased items in April and waited a bit longer to enter a retail location due to COVID-19 concerns (I was at higher risk of contracting and thereby spreading the virus due to close contact with patients). I attempted to explain this to the store manager, but was instead met with indifference and sarcasm. He reiterated Uniqlo's "generous policy" to me several times, giving me the sense that this conversation is one of many that he's had. I understand the frustration this can bring a person, but the overall experience left me feeling like a dispensable customer. On a related note, I felt mocked by his comments for having ordered items at a lower sale price online. I question whether Uniqlo prioritizes profits over people - the very customers responsible for driving sales revenue. I hope this message reaches somebody who's able to influence change. A bit more compassion is both meaningful and memorable to consumers, especially during these fraught times. Encounters like the one I experienced today can unfortunately draw the line for some customers. I feel as though your store manager's unwavering stance on the return policy has affected both my desire to purchase from Uniqlo and my impression of your organization's...
Read moreThis isn’t my usual store. I usually go to Chestnut Hill because driving in the mall area of Natick is terrifying. Plus, this mall is far too big. But the Chestnut Hill store is temporarily closed for mall renovations and I needed to get an exchange out of the way before the deadline. It was an exchange from the website. I had no issues in this store. The two ladies at the register were super helpful. One of them even went through the rack of jeans for me, to find the two sizes I wanted to try on. I didn’t even ask her for help. I just asked her where to find this style of jeans, and she showed me and then said she would find what I was looking for. I was so grateful because I hate searching for things. That’s why I shop on the app. I buy all Uniqlo clothing, and I mostly order from the app because my preferred store (Chestnut Hill) is about 50 minutes away. I try so hard to get it right the first time so I don’t need to return or exchange things. While I don’t plan to go back to this store (this mall is far too big, with a very scary parking situation), I was very happy with the service I received.
Also, Uniqlo recently updated their return and exchange policy to be more customer...
Read moreAbsolute favorite store, many different styles and pleasant colors to choose from. Went in searching for a pair of dress pants and was greeted by many options. The quality of the fabric is amazing. Although the waist size was perfect they needed to be tailored and to my surprise Uniqlo does in-store alterations. The alteration was very fast, and was done by the time my shopping was over which was only about an hour. Other stores in the mall sell crop tops to young teens while Uniqlo is a more modest store to so if your someone who enjoys dressing modest I would recommend Uniqlo. Yet if you do prefer a more elaborate attire there are also choices like that too in Uniqlo. I’ve attached images of my altered pants, and as you can see the stitching is clean and well made. Would...
