Tonight at 8 PM we decided to go and order some sandwiches from this place. We approach the counter and the lady behind the counter seemed irritated because we were going to order food. Mind you they don’t close until 9 PM. The girl that supposed to be making the food because I guess she’s the only one there to make the food decided to go to the bathroom at that very moment. I guess I’ll call her the chef. So the chef left to go to the bathroom. There was the other girl still standing there so we saw the special which includes half a sandwich chips or soup and a drink we started asking her what the soup of the day was. She said oh we have no soup today when clearly on another sign it had the soup specials. So we looked over and we saw the soups over in the pots sitting there. So basically she didn’t want to turn the soup back on because she didn’t wanna go through that effort Which is very sad. Through this whole conversation the girls seemed super irritated. So we decided to leave because we didn’t like the way her customer service was towards us. If the owner knew how much training these girls needed on customer service they wouldn’t...
Read moreMy rating is at a 2.5 today, but am willing to pop up to 3. I look forward to trying their gelato as it has always looked very good. My last order their was for 2 crepes, one a savory crepe and one was essentially a desert crepe. As someone who is used to excellent crepes from the Paris Creperie in Brookline, I must say this was a bit of a disappointment. Both were just too dry and sadly just dry enough to make me regret the purchase. They actually got my desert crepe wrong as I ordered the chocolate and they gave me the nutella. The portions were very good and the temperature was just right. I would NOT make a special trip for these crepes, and in fact, I would be a bit embarrassed to get them again or to recommend them to visitors.
Since this restaurant is in the middle of the Natick Mall, and in an open area, it's great for relaxing from your shopping, and there are plenty of seats and it's all very, very clean. I believe they have a decent menu though not an extensive one, and I will go back for their gelato and then adjust my review...
Read moreWe recently had a disappointing experience at this place, and I would not recommend it at all, especially for parents with young children. It seems their focus is solely on the business aspect rather than customer satisfaction.
Upon arriving, we purchased a few beverages and pastries, only to realize it was time to feed our hungry baby. I approached the cashier to kindly request some hot water to warm the bottle milk. To my surprise, they flat-out refused unless we paid for it. I've never encountered a situation where customers had to purchase hot tap water before.
Fortunately, our baby was okay with room temperature milk, but I couldn't help but feel disappointed at the lack of consideration. Charging for something as basic as hot water, especially when it's for a baby, left a sour taste in our mouths. To fellow parents who may relate to this situation, it speaks volumes about the customer service at this place. Proceed...
