Having visited Mochi Dough twice, I can firmly say I have no desire to try a third time:
First Visit Concerns: Payment Policy: Discovered it's cash-only for purchases under $10 (so you need to buy 3 or more to use a card). Pricing vs Size: Donuts are priced at $4.50 each but are modest in size.
Second Visit Disappointments: Service and Staffing: Encountered a long line with just one staff member, resulting in a slow service. Donut Visibility: Unlike the first visit, no donuts were on display. The cashier had to disappear to a back room to grab donuts. Packaging: If not buying enough for a box, donuts are given in wax paper, which peeled off the frosting. Quality: The dough was undercooked, feeling doughy and stretchy. I spit it in the trash.

Read moreBought a box of 3 mochi dough $13 and a 10 yen Cheese coin $6. 1 star review is for 10 Yen Cheese coin - $6 for one palm size bread which is supposed to be filled with big chunk of cheese in center and gooey cheese stretching when you break the crispy coin bread. Wishful thinking - None of that happened with this coin, just undercooked mushy bread with almost no cheese inside. I can buy whole block of cheese for $6. Poor copycat version of Japanese 10-yen coin or Korean 10-won bread. Went back and the grumpy woman at the front said 'well we made it the way we always have'... Deserves 0 star, but 1 star is for reluctantly offering to make a new one and making me wait until they filled everyone else's...
