If you’d want your 30th birthday celebration with your friends and family ruined this is the place to go. Not only my party was disappointed but we have heard 4 other parties around us disappointed and frustrated with their food and service and saw them walk out. The sweetest host took care of us as we walked in. I called ahead for the party of 15. Per usual we’re just a group of adult trying to enjoy my birthday. I really enjoyed CPK at Foxwoods so while I was at level 99 in natick I decided I wanted to share the great food with my friends. Only to find out that no one wanted to serve us. We waited 15 minutes before the host returned and asked us if anyone had grabbed us drinks. There were a couple servers chit chatting in the corner staring at us not wanting to take our table. Once someone came to order our drinks. That’s where it all went down hill. The waiter I am assuming was also bartending at the same time. He ordered our drinks. Split our checks and then walked away. Our drinks came out first. No water when we asked. We asked about 5x and nothing. When we finally received water. It was 2 pitchers and a couple glasses. No one had water for the rest of the night. Our food came out at different times and half the table ate theirs before the other half didn’t get a chance yet. My sisters chicken piccata was under cook. It was raw. Which is a serious health concern. She ate a chunk to realize it was cold and slimy. We asked to speak to a “manager” and she did nothing except come grab the old plate and gave us a “small plate” coupon for next time. No apology but asked if she wanted another one made. My cousin never received his drink or his food. Came to find out the waiter never put in his order even though we were told it would’ve been done immediately. We asked to speak to another “manager” and he told us “I will take off all chicken meals” since majority of the table had chicken plates and did not feel comfortable eating it since it came from the same kitchen. That never happened. But he gave me a $75 gift card for next time. After this had happened we receive the bill and it was completely wrong. We asked to get it split and explained how the chicken should’ve came off and their system shut down in error. We were just frustrated and disappointed at this point. The waiter never came back for the rest of the night. When we asked for the check no one came back. No one wanted to talk to us.it was like they were avoiding our table. We waited about 30+ for someone to bring the check to us. It took us talking to “5 managers” for something to get done. The service sucked. Poor management I must say. Thank you for letting my birthday down. I only turn 30 once and I chose you of all places to eat. Thank you for letting my sister get sick and my cousin sit there with no food in front of him watching everyone eat. If “Laura the first manager” apologized and offered something other than a “small plate” coupon it wouldn’t have escalated as far as it did that day. We’re adults who have all worked in a restaurant. We know the frustration that comes from waiting large parties and customers. We only want sincere and genuine apologies mistakes happen. We’re human. But we never received that and we never received an actual waiter. Just be careful what you eat if you end up at...
Read moreI had the pleasure this past week I went to the Natick mall and was walking around and decided on my way out to pop in to see what this place was all about. It wasn't really busy so I felt that that would be the perfect time to slip in and I went right to the bar and I met Gabe, who was very friendly, very energetic and exhibited that he loved his job and it showed, and I had a wonderful avocado appetizer. I think they were wraps that were unbelievable. It was very clean and again he was very friendly enough so that I just went to the website and saw that they had a 3.7 star review and I was shocked. I have been in the restaurant industry for years and I can tell you I had exceptional service And I called because I could not remember Gabe's name and figured you know what I'm gonna give them five stars but I needed to remember what his name was . A gentleman answered by the name of Braulio and I asked for the manager and he said I am part of the management. How may I help you and I just told him that he needed to know that in today's day it's hard to keep businesses alive and that I just wanted him to acknowledge that he had a wonderful employee and that I had a great experience. He was so kind to me , And listened so professional and most of all grateful that I would have taken the time out of my day to think of my experience this past week to want to write a review. With that being said, I told him that I wanted to include him in the review and he was humble enough to say no that that wasn't necessary ( but I did anyway ) and then went on to say, but what I really wanna do is give you a gift card for going out of your way and he asked me for my mailing address. When telling him he didn't have to do that he absolutely insisted so you see the world can be a kinder place. I was simply just calling to ask him for the bartenders name and in a world full of crazy times right now people deserve to be acknowledged and recognized. So if you're looking for a great atmosphere and a good meal at a fair price definitely dine with these people... very attentive to customers. Will be coming back soon ! Therese...
Read moreIt took a couple days to write this because I thought I would never have to. Beautiful place and it was very busy. My 2 nephews and their cousin from out of town decided to eat here. They were given a pager because it was that packed. Went off to another store to kill time and headed back once the pager went off. Seated right away and waited 15 to 20 plus mins to be served. When you're hungry and waiting what seems to be forever you start questioning what's taking so long and were we forgotten about. Two 18 year olds and a 17 are asking these questions, plus I was with my 5 year old. Being that I work in the medical field, I gave it a benefit of the doubt and explained to be patient and its extremely busy and everybody is working hard to serve in a timely manner. I was trying to get a waiter to see how much longer, but someone was either with a tray, walked in another direction, or was rushing by us to attend another table, etc. I saw that two people were being seated in the booth in front of us and I tell you within minutes they were being serviced. Immediately, I felt some kind of way and called the waiter over and explained that we have been waiting here long before they arrived and have not been serviced. The waiter apologized and said she would get someone. She went over to the front where you check in to be seated and the lady she was speaking with looked at me and attended to do whatever she was doing. Someone eventually came over and he was an awesome server. In my head, I was wondering, if I was not there to speak up for them, how long would they have been waiting until one of them decided to say something or would have caught the observation that I did. No, it wasn't a great experience, but a lesson well taught to young teenager boys on how to handle...
