Chadwick Cottage is wonderful! The house itself is beautifully maintained and very charming. When you arrive there's a thorough book with lots of information about the amenities and local things to do. You could easily spend your day hanging out on the porch or around the house but there's so much nearby to visit. The quaint shops of Ocean Gove start just a block away. It's a short walk (a few blocks away) to the beach and boardwalk (which is great for a morning walk or jog). There are even some yoga classes held on a pier nearby. It's also an easy walk to Asbury Park which continues to expand with great restaurants, bars, shops and there's even a small movie theater. You should check out the pinball museum on the Asbury boardwalk where you can pay by the hour to play lots of vintage pinball and video games. I cannot...

The hosts have turned this house into a picture perfect, highly functional and very comfortable place to stay in Ocean Grove.The house itself is beautifully designed, decorated and organized down to every detail. The orientation booklet that the owners provide for the house will allow you to plan your trip easily, including knowing what cooking supplies are in the house. Locationwise, it's ideal. It's easy to get to, there's plenty of parking, and once parked you can walk everywhere. The cute shops on Main Street are only a few blocks away as are the historic amphitheater and esplanade that leads to the ocean. We just had an amazing experience at Chadwick cottage in Ocean Grove. James has provided an immaculately clean, comfortable, welcoming gathering space with all the amenities you could possibly want. The kitchen was fully equipped for us to cook and serve Thanksgiving dinner for the whole family in the lovely dining room. We enjoyed the fireplace, the terrific sound system and all of the CDs with wonderful music selections, board games and so many extra touches. As very frequent travelers who have stayed in dozens of rental properties, we can attest to the fact that James has gone above and beyond in providing an absolutely perfect getaway destination in the heart of a charming beach community and a short stroll from the vibrancy of downtown Asbury Park.
