I hate this company if I could give a zero I would. If making a complaint with the Wisconsin Attorney General wasn't so time consuming I would have done it. I was deceived and outright lied to in order to get me to switch from cable for 3 services. They are devious and offered me $500 to switch as well as a great discount but I never got any of it. I spent 18 hours over 4 different days speaking to over 50 people (yes thats right) because I was shunted from one petson to another. Even managers couldn't help. I finally was escalated (my choice) to the Office of the President and Ramona did nothing. I was told that they spoke with my original sales person (whose name I gave them) and she denied speaking with me (we spoke for almost an hour) or offering me the incentives. What a Bait and Switch con. The customer service is so bad when I once asked for a number to call to file a complaint I was given the personal number (and I verified it twice) to a guy in Minnesota who has never had anything to do with AT&T. Be wary of doing business. Oh and you know how they say this call is being recorded, well I told them to check the recording to verify, I was told that the record no longer existed (even though it had been only 2 weeks). They are miserable to work with and I was hung up on by several. I was transferred all around the US to some places three times. Noone was ever going to help me. I cancelled the services paid what I was told I owed and then a month later got a collection notice saying I owed $100 or so more. I called Office of President (Ramona) who said I hadn't paid all I owed as thete was still charges I owed (really!) And I needed to wait for my final final bill which would be generated July 1st and get to me around the 9th. I waited till 7/21 and called back and was told the bill was generated and I should have gotten it (No) so I was told to wait for next billing cycle (I have all my calls with her recorded) so I did and nothing came again and I haven't heard anything more from AT&T or DIRECT TV or the collection agency since. Read moreI got my mom on our cell phone plan but in order to surprise her I had to get a temporary “ghost” number attached to the new line, I was told that once we surprised her with her new phone that we could go to any location for a simple number change (i.e pull her number from her trac phone and attach it to her new phone) I went to the New Berlin WI location at 10am (12/28/21) in order to make this change. The individual who was working (didn’t have a name tag) spent 20 mins with us telling us that it is not possible because the new phone is attached to a contract with the number it was given, followed by him saying it was possible followed by “but your going to have to go to the location (Muskego) you got the phone from and work with the individual who was helping you, he’s not in today so you’ll have to go to that location tomorrow for him to help you finish setting up this new phone line” he refused to help us, went back and forth about how it wasn’t possible but was possible, etc. I ended up leaving and going to the West Allis location and the amazing manager Lukas got me in and out in less than 5 mins and took care of the number transfer with 0 issues. Read moreWorked w/ Brett at the Muskego store ( that he visits once a week ) he helped us transfer our old numbers over and get 2 new phone lines etc spent 2 hrs there, he confirmed one phone that they had in stock worked and was ready to go. But when we got home it didnt do anything except call out. Could not get incoming anything. He informed us it was better to order the 2nd phone iphone 13 pro max thru the store vs online because it takes longer, and that they would push the order so we would have it within a few dats vs a week or so, just to find out Brett never completed the process on his end with the number transfer for the iphone. So its been 6 days and still have no update on the phone. Seems to be confident but failed all around. Alot of errors and issues. Called him to ask what happened with the iphone status and he kept saying "I've never had that happen before" but he said that about alot of things, he only made things more complicated and a headache overall.
