KAY Jewelers — Local services in New Bern

Tammy was pretty dang cool. My husband and I have been together for 9 years. Last Christmas he got me an upgraded wedding ring from the Kay's in New Bern but at the time it was very costly to get the wedding band and ring together. He's been asking all year if he could borrow my wedding ring to see the options of the current ring could match a wedding band that they had in stock. My husband has been here at leat 9-10 times since the Christmas purchase. Everyone just tells him that the Ever Us line is no longer in production. Today however the manager Tammy took her time to check on the website. The origional consultant we were working with must have been new and that's totally fine(everyone starts somewhere and that's what managers are for is to help their teams). Being a Manger myself at a medical office, I really appreciate the continued effort in really looking into this for us. Customer service goes a very long way. We talked about ALL options and she could tell that I didn't want to trade in my current ring for the sake of being able to have a wedding band. She told us about the molding my current ring and being able to have a custom band built. But when I asked about how much it was it ended up just as much as trading in my ring for an upgrade(ring and band together). Needless to say, what could have been a very aqward situation, she handled our patricular situation with ease. We walked out with the most perfect ring and band set today and she could tell that I was happy and greatful but also sad about losing the ring my husband bought on his own. She offered for me to be able to take 1 last picture of the ring for momento purposes. Literally just so nice and I just really appreciate her kindness and patience as this wasn't an easy decision for me to let go of something so special to both mine and my husband's hearts. I want to give a big Thank You to Kristian. He made my day once again. Every time I come into Kay’s he always greet me with a big HELLO. I went in there with my wife to get her jewelry cleaned like she always does.
