Pros: You have great sandwiches and the firehouse theme is great! I want Firehouse to succeed! What happened! It is tough for a business to succeed under the best circumstances but more difficult when you are not on top of the game. First, when someone walks in employees should say, “welcome to Firehouse.” Or they should say something said at a firehouse such as ladders on deck?? Something. Second, your restrooms should be checked frequently and Never filthy. (Grime in sink, dirt on walls etc. Third, knowledge. The employees should be trained so they are prepared to take an order and complete the order without a committee meeting. Dining area at 11:30 am. There were just a couple of us here at first but a few more came in - but there was no rush! I had to go to three tables to get one that was not messed up, stuff on floor in various places (not bad but not excellent). Those employees not directly involved with customers should be cleaning tables, sweeping up trash and ensuring the machines are all working. Finally, the employees don’t look happy to be here. Recommendations: (since I have been in business). Play some music, have your employees speak to customers, ensure ...
Read moreTypically really enjoy this firehouse but I pulled up at 7:53pm on Thursday February 16th, the lights were on, the open sign was on and I see an employee behind the counter. As soon as I pull up I see her run to the back. I go to the door(which says open until 9) and the door was locked. I notice employees peaking around the corner so I knocked and there was no response. So I got back to my car. The employees come back out in the store and work on mopping and sweeping all while staring at my car waiting for me to leave. They finally turned the lights and open sign off at 8:05. Well before 9 pm with no closings early post on the door. Very disappointed in the sketchy and poor behavior of the staff. Situation would have been okay if there was a note saying closed on the door or the employee came to the door and said they were closing early.
Ended up at jersey mikes since they stayed open during their scheduled hours. But drove back by firehouse after (8:35 pm) just to see if it was fully closed and I see the two employees sitting at a table playing on their phones while another employee does dishes in the back. Door still locked and...
Read moreMy husband and several others got sick after having lunch provided by this location. I called the day after and left a message detailing my husband's illness and the fact that others were hospitalized and finally heard back from someone in a manager position four days later. She was supposed to call me back to get an email address to send me the reports of her findings, stating that there was nothing on their end that could have cause the illness, but I never received a call. One of the guys that got sick went to the location the next day to try to get a point of contact to speak to regarding the situation since I never heard back, but that apparently turned ugly.....He ended up speaking to the manager at the store, and the owner called him later to tell him that an insurance adjuster would be contacting them regarding the situation. Seems strange that only those that ate the subs from Firehouse that day were the only ones that...
