Swig — Local services in New Braunfels

VERY excited that Swig is finally open in New Braunfels!! As soon as I got the text, I hopped in my car to grab a dirty soda that I’ve been craving ever since I heard whispers of them opening here. I’ve been to an Arizona location so I knew we were in for a treat (pun intended) when it was announced that they were coming.

Only the drive thru is open right now but the staff is friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient! I expected a long drive thru line but got my drink in just a few minutes. Loved the free sample of cookies, too!

I lived in Utah for a while and fell in love with Swig and similar places. I was excited to see this location open so close to my house. I've been about 10 times since they opened and the quality is very inconsistent. I will say that the staff is very friendly. If they are busy with a line expect the your drink to be subpar. My energy drink today tasted worse than something out of a can. Maybe the syrup was starting to go out on the energy drink or they skimped on the add ins. Not sure but it was barely drinkable for $7. From now on I'll go to dutch bros or jolt for a consistently good energy...

Finally got to try and see what all the rave is about! To be clear- I was never a soda drinker, I went with the intent to try the refreshers. Swig has now turned me into a soda lover (thanks to the Waikiki, also tried the dirty soda as well) and I go with my kids multiple times a week at this point! Service is always super quick (especially having small kids in the car) and their treats are SO yummy!!!!! Such great options for everyone (food and drinks).
