I have always like At Home till I visited last night and was the only customer in the store and went to go to the bathroom and was told by a manager that they were cleaning them and closed. Not let me help you or check on to see if you can use them just they were closed for cleaning as we are cleaning up as close to time to close. Mind you they had 45 minutes till they closed and the poor cashier had to do that job by herself while 2 managers sat by the registers talking. Amazing enough the employee who really didn't say anything tried to apologize when I went to the car and brought back every bag I had to return my merchandise as I won't support that type of behavior to a customer. I just loved when people try to make me believe what they didn't say. I just went wow as if I didn't have a problem with the girl who didn't say anything originally I did now as that was a bold face lie. Fast forward to today and I am calling their number to reach the main manager and it rolls to a cell phone number not listed on their website and no name and I left a message as haven't been able to get through to the store all day. Such a shame that employees forget it is the customer who enables them to have a paying job. Brittany the sad excuse for a manager never apologized and had to walk away when I came back with my stuff to return. Nothing like reinforcing your guilt and lack of experience. I learned a long time ago that the true character of a person is really how they respond to their mistake and how they handle themselves. She failed on all these levels. I have now gathered up everything I bought over the last couple of weeks and will be returning all. I will choose to spend my money in a store that respects its customers and works with a smile. Brittany needs to find a job she likes as it was apparent she is not happy and not well coached on tact. It was nice shopping with you At Home but Hobby Lobby and Home Goods can have my money. I will be sure to post my reviews to as many sites as I can so that others know that particular store needs a management or some really good traning. Please note look at the review and see the responses that don't even make sense with what is posted shaking my head. Shame on...
Read moreI have shopped the Home store many times and really enjoyed it. Especially the holidays and the 🎄 tree lanes as it was designed. Very festive maybe a little wider for shopping carts to maneuver backthere if a customer 👀 a tree or box that matches the 🌳 if it fits in the basket. Love that Halloween is already up in the store's. When I went inside recently I was wondering who died for real all Halloween stuff 🤔 🙃 😅 and 1 customer passed me ,said is it October no it's not it's was June. The wide ailes overall are great. Great selection of merchandise throughout the store. & frankly no sales person following any customer around. I like to take my time and just shop I usually know what I am looking for and shop online before coming to the store. I don't usually have it shipped unless my local store doesn't have a item. Bring on the Christmas decorations now I am actually ready this year I have the Christmas 🎄...
Read moreI drove 40 minutes to go check the new Braunfels store out honestly was not impressed but when they forgot to give me an item I paid for cause they were more concerned about signing me up to get their emails and putting my items in the cart themselves and when a lady wanted a scooter she runs over and stops her from getting it herself, maybe pay attention to the 1st customer before you run to stop another would be wise. When I called and spoke with Karen the manager said she couldn’t do anything but I have to drive all the way back to get the item or refund, guess I’m going back for a refund and returning the other items I bought. Hobby Lobby will get my money and they are not as overpriced as this place. So my 1st time here became my last time here. Karen’s attitude lost a customer and this bad review.
