ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

We are in New Orleans for our first time and visiting till Sunday and my girlfriend and I was walking on Bourbon Street tonight and came across this business and was excited to see what the store offered. So my girlfriend and I walked in the store tonight and there were customers still in the building shopping, as soon as we got into the store we were met with one of the workers that was in the back of the store and he stated the were closing....... Ok, can we shop or no? Worker said if we hurry.......... WOW!!!!

I have worked in Customer Service for many years and it does not matter if you are closing in 1 Minute or 30 Minutes, if your door is open then take the customer. All they had to do is lock the door so no one else came in. Because of the hateful attitude and making us feel like we were unwelcome and a bother we decided to go elsewhere to spend our...

The first time I walked into the store the guy working was so nice and helpful. Before I left New Orleans I wanted to go back for something I saw previously. I saw a cute gift but couldn’t find a price tag on it or nearby. When I went to the register I nicely asked how much was the item as it didn’t have any pricing nearby. The guy working, Doug, as stated in the receipt, goes “the price is up there I just put it up.” I tried to tell him I looked before asking but then he just starts listing the price of all the items I had on the counter. It was unnecessary and rude. I asked for the price of one item not the extra 7 I had on the counter. Maybe he was just having a bad day or I looked like someone he’s seen before, I don’t know. Overall, I like the store because there was a variety of items for everyone. I just was not happy with the inconsistent...

As an LGBTQ person visiting from Houston, I'd made a pretty quick beeline to enjoy Lafitte's in Exile. This gem was right next door, so I stopped in to grab a little something to take home. The owner was a freakin' DELIGHT. (Pro tip: make his life a little easier if you're there on a super busy weekend like the Super Bowl and do some browsing before you ask if he has something. It's a small store.) And when you browse, you're gonna find things you didn't know you needed until you see them.

My friend and I had a great chat with the owner, and he found me a very special Saints t-shirt in the back that I'm pretty much gonna live in from now on. Be a kind and respectful visitor (I can only imagine this kind man had dealt with so many people stumbling in acting a fool after their third hand grenade), and support this small...

My friend and I came in to check out the merchandise. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman. He was friendly and made an effort to get to know my friend and I, just being social, we loved him! He’s so sweet! We came out with some awesome goodies. Yes it’s a pride store, but honestly anyone can shop here as there’s something for everyone.

Stopped in and Dustin was extremely helpful. I asked if he had a shirt from Cafe Lafitte in Excile and he had to go in the back to get one. Great customer service and fun to chat with. Hope to see him again next year when I will be in the French Quarter for a week.
