We browsed around not really in the market for getting anything but within 2 minutes we were drawn to beautiful pieces that wanted to buy. One of the owners, Brian, started to share more about the pieces and his background and we ended up chatting with him about traveling and art! He was so knowledgeable, friendly, and a hoot! We ended up getting 4 wood pieces and the prices were fantastic - they were having a 20% off Summer Sale. We will definitely be back to add to our collection.

On a long weekend away in NOLA we wondered into the sliver lotus on Royal St. We were greeted by the owner which we did not know at the time. This store is full of hand carvings that range over decades and generations by the owners wife's family. There are so many wonderful, amazing and unique carvings inside. To my surprise there was also some very unique antique jewelry. My FAV!!! I ended up leaving with two rings, two antique necklaces and an antique moss agate pin. The owner could not have been more kind taking the time to spend with me and explain all the pieces I was interested in. I’d give this man 0 stats if I could. Absolutely pathetic behavior.

The rudest individual we’ve encountered in this city. We walk in and he keeps pressing us to buy something and when we tell him that we are just looking, he tries to kick us out.

We asked to see a few things and we asked questions he got annoyed told us he doesn’t have any time and had better things to do so my girlfriend asked why did he even bother opening the store on that day if he doesn’t want people coming in. I mean if you have an open store in the most touristy and trafficked area of the city, what do you expect.

We are business owners and it’s really just basic courtesy. If you don’t want to talk to potential customer do not...
