Update: despite comment to this post, they did not follow up with me
Iām about to go through the process of disputing a consultation fee I was never informed about in advanceā¦
First off, while $15 per unit for Botox might sound reasonable by Manhattan standards, there seems to be an unspoken service minimum. Iām in my 20s and typically get around 20 units, but they refused to treat me unless I agreed to 36 unitsācosting $560āand included areas I was uncomfortable treating (closer to my eyes). They claimed this was the FDA-recommended dosage and said they had to follow it, which is just patently untrue.
Here is the statement I had to write for the card company, feel free to borrow if it applies to your situationā¦
I am disputing a $75 consultation fee (plus tax) charged on 7/12/2025. I did not receive any treatment during my visitāonly a brief consultation. I had intended to proceed with a Botox treatment, but the provider refused to administer the service unless I agreed to double the amount I had requested (or for that amount, ever been treated with) and to areas I explicitly stated I was not comfortable treating. As a result, no services were rendered.
At no point was I informed that a consultation fee would apply. There was no signage in the office indicating such a fee, and when I questioned the charge, the receptionist explicitly confirmed that she had not told me about the fee and that I was correct it was not posted anywhere in the office. She said had I booked through their website, the fee would have been disclosedābut because I was a walk-in, I was not informed.
I asked if information about the fee was in the consent documents I signed, however she wouldnāt answer my question. She insisted I would be charged the fee due to company policy, while confirming that no I had not been made aware of it.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreDanny and Wendy were so nice and so knowledgeable and made me feel really comfortable when I was there for my first time micro lip treatment. I was the last patient of the day but they didn't make me feel rushed which I'm so appreciative of! However, I do have an issue with the company's up selling. I don't want this to discredit Danny or Wendy at all because they were amazing and this is what they have to do for corporate, but I came in strictly for .5 cc lip fillers and next thing I know I'm told my chin and jaw line could use fillers and was even given quotes on this procedure which I didn't ask for. I was also set on just the .5 cc but still got a quote for 1cc as well and was made to feel that the 1cc was the "better" option. Again, I don't want this to reflect the workers as they are just working under company practices, but I find it upsetting! What if I was someone with low self-esteem and I came out of there obsessing about my jaw thinking there was something wrong with it? I hope the company can change their practices on this and focus the conversations strictly on what the patient wants without bringing up other "options" or procedures that were never even discussed in the first place. Again, this is not to discredit Wendy or Danny, I just wanted to make people aware of the company's up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReasonably priced for what is in the area, but negative experience overall. Came in for 15 minute consultation for a specific service, told this to the desk and the injector and they started telling me all of the other things they would change. I declined and went with the service that I came in for. The front desk representative who gave me the pricing was very pushy and acted like I needed to rush when deciding. Then, it took another 45 minutes for the service to start. This wouldnāt have been an issue except I told multiple people I had somewhere to be and wanted to schedule for a different time if it would take too long to get started on the procedure. I had to go out to the desk to ask where the injector was. The injector seemed to know what she was doing, but told me she would rush the process so I could leave to get to the place I needed to be. I am not confident she did her best job because she was rushed and I told her and the front desk people multiple times I would come back when I had more time. I was still not out by the time that they had all said that I could be done. I donāt expect a quick wait after a consultation, but since I was assured that it would be faster, I am disappointed 1) it took so long to start 2) the...
