In general the exhibition is very interesting for the families, but in the one and only part where we could have some knowledge based reflections, the exhibition is misleading. The part relatated to Cossack heritage shows Georgian outfit instead. Also the description attached to it is not right. Cossacks have been military settlers recruited from refugee serfs of Noble Republic of Poland. used by polish Kingdom as a border guard. This has been the first step to create Cossacs national identity being a base for further Ukrainian nationality. This is probably not the most important link in such a vast scope of historical exhibition, but any doubt coming from such a small part may call into question other, unknown and new for us, exposition parts. Attached please find a source picture reg. Bohdan Chmielnicki - the first Cossack political leader. Please correct.

Always worth visiting. The museum is very fun and very well conceived. We had a great time watching the pieces of the “Night at the Museum” movie. It’s a great place to spend the afternoon with kids if you’re a parent. It just can be a bit crowded I guess although we went on a weekday. I strongly recommend the visit though.

Beautiful museum with multiple exhibitions and floors with a cafe and public bathrooms. Planetarium show was wonderful and they have other shows as well for an extra price. Beautiful architecture and just a wonderful experience. Highly recommend to families and anyone in NYC, located right near Central Park.
