I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Paskowski & Weitz Optometry / Sunset Park Eye Doctors Optical! One of the things I loved most about this place is their convenient walk-in policy. No need to worry about making appointments in advance; I simply walked in and was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff.

Dr. Cotler and Dr. Weitz provided exceptional care and expertise during my visit. They were both attentive, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire examination. Their professionalism and genuine concern for my eye health were truly remarkable.

I also want to give a special shout-out to Jennifer, the wonderful staff member who taught me how to put in my contact lenses. She was incredibly patient, understanding, and took the time to ensure that I felt confident and comfortable with the process. Her guidance and clear instructions made it so much easier for me to adapt to wearing contact lenses.

Been coming here since I was a kid! They always hooked me up with nice frames and were always so kind. I remember being in elementary school and they were so patient about me flinching for the tonometry machine haha. I came during college because I had trouble seeing the board to take notes and one of the optometrists and I had a great conversation about college and how he was also a Brooklyn College alum! The optometrists never seem to be in a bad mood and I really love the family feel of this place. I remember being a kid and one of their sons joining the office and they seemed so proud. They seem to keep employees for a long time because I tend to recognize them whenever I come in. I also really love the vintage look of the exterior and interior of the office. It’s classic Brooklyn! I’m going to try my hand at contact lenses and will definitely be coming here for them! I literally revolve my insurance around this place — I refuse to get it if it isn’t accepted at this office. I don’t mind rotating doctors and dentists but these guys are non negotiable! Nostalgia aside, I always leave eager to get my glasses and eager to see...

I am not big on writing reviews - but the excellent service I received from Paskowski & Weitz makes it almost an obligation. The people at the desk are patient and friendly and without me asking immediately got in touch with my insurance and let me know what exactly is covered: five stars. In spite of quite a crowded room I did not have to wait long to get my eyes checked: five more. Dr. Weitz came across very competent and was totally forthcoming re my specific questions: another five! He made me aware of how little glasses I would chose right there would cost me. Though I have another very good place where I usually go for new glasses this was too good to pass up: five more. Usually it takes a few days for those glasses but since I needed them quite urgently I received a call from Dr. Weitz himself the next morning telling me I could pick them up: add five more stars, and with a visit under one hour 20 stars were accumulated, quite deservedly.
