Heavy set Spanish worker (I’m Latino so this isn’t anything racial) at 5 ave Store completely stand-offish! Very cold person. Doesn’t greet or respond to hello. He’s like a person who hates his job I don’t know what’s his issue but I’m in the store attempting to purchase a $1000-$1500 coat and he’s ordering security and staff to go to the front door instead of helping me. The worker Connie was beautiful helpful but she said if there was no 2XX size on the floor she would check storage for me and she wind up being told to help someone else. I would never go into that store ever again. Anyway I walked up 5ave to Canada Goose and LuluLemon and for $1200 I purchased a Vest at LuluLemon and a coat at Canada Goose both Goose down coats and the staff were amazing! After an email exchange with the company about a faulty zipper on my winter coat, they instructed me to bring it to my nearest store to drop it off for repair, which was this Flatiron location. I was directed to Emily by a salesperson and she looked at my case number and read my email exchange and said she may be able to repair it on the spot. She pulled out a huge tool box and replaced the pull mechanism of the zipper and explained while she worked that it was a weakness in some of the jackets. The zipper now seals properly. She told me to come back if there were any more problems. The entire process took less than 20 minutes. Emily was exceptionally courteous and welcoming and skillful with the tools.
