Ascot Diamonds is a super jeweler! After my fiance proposed, I did some research on-line and was immediately impressed by the level of education that the Ascot website provides and the attention to details, making sure that everyone has access to information that will allow everyone to fully understand the details regarding such an important purchase. Dan was phenomenal from the get go: since my first email asking for an appointment on a Sunday. He mentioned that the store is closed on Sundays, but he was available to opening the store, should Sunday have been our only possible day for an appointment. In the end we were able to get there on a Saturday and since the moment we stepped in I knew it has been the right choice (it was only our second appointment ever to look at diamonds in NYC). The time spent once again to explain, educate us, shows us the difference, etc. was fantastic, with whatsoever no pressure to make a decision. We narrowed it down already during the first appointment to 2 amazing stones. Dan - true to his word - sent us shortly after our meeting - a summary email with the details of both stones. When I emailed back few days later asking for a follow-up appointment, he even mentioned that in the meantime he had come across another stone that, even if it was cheaper than one of the 2 that we had originally identified, he was an even better stone. During our follow-up appointment we made the decision on the stone and picked the setting being always advised by Dan. And Dan continued to be available to answer all of my questions even after we had made the decision of going ahead. 23 days after our first appointment, I received today the most beautiful ring I could have possibly imagined. It is superb and Dan and his team have done a terrific job from advising and guiding us through to process to customizing the setting, etc. I couldn't say enough about our experience with Ascot Diamonds and how happy we are with the final product. We will definitely go back for our wedding bands and I've been already recommending Ascot Diamonds....

I recently purchased my engagement ring from Ascot Diamonds; the entire process took roughly 6 weeks from walking in to the door to having a finished product in my hands. I worked with Dan Raz, he was extremely knowledgeable about the diamond market, the stones, and designs of the rings. He walked me through the entire process and we kept a tight timeline through. We looked at many diamonds, and Dan worked very hard to get as much of the diamonds with in my budget in front of me as he could. He was not one bit pushy, we spend most of our time comparing different stones, going over what matters and what doesn’t. In the end, I was able to pick out the PERFECT stone that I’m in love with, and certainly she will be too.

I picked a three stone design, all Dan wanted me to focus on was the center stone, and he took care of the rest of it perfectly, the side stones are beautifully fitted to the certain stone. When it came to the design, I picked whatever I wanted, and Dan and his team was able to craft it flawlessly.

Big question when making a purchase like this is budget, and if you’re like me, that’s a major concern, but with Dan I never felt like I was defending my budget or trying to talk him down and haggle. I checked crossed multiple websites on the same level of the diamond, and never found anything close to the price I got here. And comparing to my friends that has gotten their rings done elsewhere, I definitely felt like they over paid.

To wrap up the process, Dan was very accommodating in shipping out the ring, tracking and even contacted FedEx for me when I missed the package. He also included a few boxes, cleaning products, and all the paper work, appraisal, and GIA certificates.

All in all, I cannot be happier with the product, with Dan, and with the entire process. They took care of me like family, and I have no hesitation recommending my friends or anyone to them over and over again.
