I originally called this company in September and they came by and gave us a quote on a bunch of windows. So we started out with the basement windows. They sent us a quote for about 5,000$ to change out all the basement windows 526$ a window plus 90$ capping Windows size 29 3/4 X 15 1/2. I gave them a deposit and about a month later they were there to install the windows.
The day of the install I am being told that there are 8 basement windows and they only have 7. Now I am thinking to my self how do you screw that up? So I let that go and I place an order for the stairs windows for about another 5000$. They show up about a month later and do not tell us they are coming and there was no one home. They re schedule for the following week and the installer told us all the windows are the wrong sizes. Then we are being told that the job was subcontracted to who ever is doing the installation . So Paul is not on the job he just gets the job and hires other people do it is what it seems like.
How do you get the wrong sizes for windows when you job is putting in windows? So now I am being told they have to order new windows. Its 3 months later. On the 2/12 or 2/13 I give Paul a call and I am being told that he will get back to me Thursday which no one called. Two or three weeks ago I spoke to him and he said he was waiting for the weather to clear but and we were having alot of rainy days. The deposit for this was make 11/19/2019. Its 2/23/2020 and I have no windows. My existing windows are leaking causing damage to the inside of the house and most of the winter is done. The reason I called them is because one of my windows does not close properly so there is constantly cold air coming in the house.
Save you'r self the time and headache and go somewhere else. If you look at the other reviews on of them is from Paul Fernandez. Thats the "owner" who is leaving reviews on this own page. I started doing research on line and on home advisor there are about 80 positive review every 2-3 days there is a new review which should like a scam.
For the people that think this is made up take a look at the photos below. You want to deal with this BS? Give Atlantic windows a call for your...
Read moreUpdate: I called them again because water was leaking through when there were some heavy rainstorms. When Paul the owner doesn't even have the audacity to call and state he was going to be late. He showed up 1hr later then the appt time. He said he was going to send his guys to reseal and caulk which I don't know what cheap silicone they used because the caulk desolved around the window. Do you think they showed up absolutely not. I called a day later to complain about it and like nothing they never called me back or send someone. Their business is horrible. All Paul is punctual to is giving you a quote and getting your money. Nothing else. This company should be ashamed of themselves and really understand that customer service is very important.
The only Pro is the installers we're fast and super courteous. Now to be honest the only thing Paul the owner was fast at was giving me an estimate and getting the deposit check. Now don't get me wrong I know that covid has slowed work orders but knowing that I expected Paul to tell me " it usually takes 2 weeks, but with Covid I can't promise you anything." That was never said to me just that we'll be here in 2 weeks. We'll that didn't happen it was more like an additional 2 weeks from our scheduled date. Now I tried canceling one of the windows but Paul cashed the check and told me that he couldn't do anything since the windows are in production and will be installed a few days from there. I didn't get these windows almost 2.5 weeks after trying to cancel. Makes you think that he just never tried canceling it. To make matters worst I had to be the one to call every 3 days to find out where the windows could be. I shouldn't be doing that, they should have been the ones calling and updating me with a status. You would think they would try to compensate for this delay and that wasn't even done. I understand covid has changed things but it didn't change...
Read moreThis merchant is unreliable, at best. At worst, they are intentionally swindling people out of their money. After an in-person inspection by Paul Fernandes, I paid a 50% deposit of $800 for my window spring repairs. That was five months ago. Months passed, and the office blamed supply chain issues for the repair delay. Emails frequently went unanswered, and all three of their phone lines wouldn't accept voicemails. So I disputed the charges through American Express then Atlantic Windows suddenly became responsive. The parts had now arrived from their supplier. They set a date for the long-awaited repair only after I reinstated the charge. But Atlantic Windows never confirmed that appointment again, and they never showed up. Back on the phone with AmEx. Please save yourself the hassle and don't...
