Extremely disappointed with the boot quality. To be honest before coming into the shop I never liked this brand because of the lack of quality just by looking at the soles on those shoes. But my mom stopped in front of the shop for many times and I finally decided to go check it out. After looking around she got a pair of Chelsea boots that she likes a lot. But the pull tab on one of the boots fell off completely after just one try on and that ā30 years of boot crafting experienceā guys wasnāt even surprised that it fell off that easily. After he got them repaired and sent to my mom she started to wear them. But what happens after literally two weeks of daily wearing is that the soles on both of the boots fell off because they were simply glued together with no stitchings to them whatsoever. I just want to ask everyone that how can an actual good quality leather boot exist without any sort of stitching to it? Long story short, like what we imagined the guy wouldnāt do any sort of refund since he still believes in his quality over the reviews customers have for them. The boots are very likely to break down after the second repair. DO NOT BUY BOOTS FROM THEM, there are much much better boots with much cheaper prices out there guys. Iām very curious how this company stayed in soho for over ā30 yearsā, and what kinda people are his āregular customersā that buy several pairs of shoes from him for their ENTIRE FAIMLY MEMBERSā? Thatās just pure nuts...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was there 2 weeks ago and entered because it looked like a beautiful shop. The salesperson was very eager to help me and asked me "what I was looking for ?" I found a $400 pair that I found interesting and I tried it on. I immediately noticed that the soles were not stitched, but glued on. I asked why "they wouldn't stitch the bottom sole ?" the salesperson got irritated and commented that "nothing will happen." I decided to think about it for a few minutes and at the same time another customer walks in and complained that his sole was coming apart, and that shouldn't happen to a $400 shoe in less than a month. The salesperson IMMEDIATELY blamed the customer stating, " In my 30 years years this is the first time" blah blah blah. That was my calling to leave, not purchase ANYTHING at this place, and thank my good senses for instinctively checking the quality of everything I buy. I guess I will stick to my $1400 Tom Ford's which I wear everyday...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas in the store because my mum saw a pair of boots that caught her eye. The salesperson was using his phone before we got in but he got up to greet us which we thought was really nice. My mum tried on 2 pairs which she said was really comfortable but because her feet were on the wider side, it didnāt fit her as well.
My mumās first language isnāt english and was trying to explain what she was looking for by saying she wants a similar pair to what she was wearing and the sales person just got irritated and said they donāt make shoes like that because they are handmade in Italy and along the lines of how their shoes canāt be compared with other store bought shoes.
His tone became very condescending from them on and I told my parents we should move on. When my parents said thanks, he ignored them and continued using his phone. Rude and...
