Loved this gallery!! I have followed them on Instagram for a while, because I am a huge fan of realist art. The gallery did not disappoint, with a decently large selection of paintings on view to merit a visit on my trip to LA. And the owner was very friendly and informative (and I did not look like I was about to buy an expensive painting - I had on workout pants and a t-shirt). He explained that they focus on contemporary living artists who are not only competent artists but also have their own unique style. It really shows. You may not like all of the art you see, but that's because it doesn't all blend into the mess of other artists out there. He also suggested that I check out the Norton Simon Museum. I took his advice and was so happy I did!! The only downside to this gallery is that right now (Jan 2018) parking can be a little tough due to construction, but it's simply worth it if you like contemporary realist art. Read moreWe came here to see Jeremy Lipkin's solo show. While Lipkin is an outstanding artist demanding high prices for his works the gallery staff is far from being outstanding. While inside the gallery the staff member made no contact, no greetings and to make matters worse we were asked to leave because they decided to close one hour early. We made a point to come to this particular show and planned our day according to the operating hours of the gallery. We ended up going to early dinner instead.
