The store itself isn't why I give this location 1 star. My husband and I were in town to attend NYCC and we decided to walk there from the air bnb to save money. I have been dealing with a severe, difficult physical illness since living in black mold 3 years ago. I was very beat walking in my heels so much at that point on day 2 of NYCC, so we decided to get some comfier shoes so we stopped in to Burlington as i know they have good prices on comfy yet stylish shoes. There wasnt as good of a shoe selection for being a store in the big apple, so it took a while for me to find a pair. During that time i had to tale a DGL tablet which helps me survive with my illness. I can only assume that is why the security guard sitting near the exit literally started at me intently and accusatory then jumped up and spoke into his walkie-talkie then as we walked out after having paid for my shoes. I changed into them right outside the entrance and i again noticed a different security guard come out of the first exit doors, stop and stare at me and then go into an office in between the two sets of doors. I get that there are people who steal but not only am I not one of those people there was literally no rational reason on my end why they directly treated me that way. It honestly makes me not want to shop at Burlington again. It's never happened at my local Burlington and as someone who has been in management never do you treat innocent customers that way. I tried to just forget about it but being mistreated like that does unfortunately have effects and I was triggered for it while shopping in a store again, being afraid I would be wrongly accused and not able to feel like myself bc of it. I hope they retrain their asset protection team to not mistreat people this...
Read moreTerrible service today, August 15, 2024, I went to buy some things I needed And I also changed some products because I also bought yesterday in the same store And the attention was really a disaster They need people trained in customer service, the cashier Monette and the supervisor Verónica, if nothing else, I'm not mistaken, the afternoon shift, terrible customer service, one buys with their money, I didn't go to get the things as gifts, they really need to change staff, they work. reluctantly, in a bad way, they respond defensively, they don't even look you in the eye, they respond terribly. I don't know how you, a large prestigious company, have these types of employees working here, I don't know why they haven't ordered him to take a course in customer service the ordinary supervisor arguing with me with the one he feeds is this seriously? Because if it really wasn't because people shop there, Burligton wouldn't exist. I clearly told him if you don't like your job, leave!! And give the opportunity to another person who really needs it because you are too ordinary and racist just because I spoke to him in Spanish And he doesn't know that I was born here and I also speak English I hope they take action on the matter. Burligton Bronx...
Read moreI purchased multiple items, rude Christina (cashier) asked if we need bags, I replied no. She said I could not bagged them up in my empty shopping cart it has to be done at the counter. The counter space was limited so I begin bagging up items already scanned so as to make more room for my other items. I complied then placed the bag on the floor next to me. The cashier then said I have to keep the bags on the counter until I paid. She insinuated that I was there to steal and wasn't going to pay! I have never felt so insulted and embarrassed at Burlington Bronx Terminal! Furthermore the manager has no customer service skills to save her life and should be fired! She made no attempt to help with the situation that she was aware of and there were two items that would not scan and they had me waiting for 5mins without a solution!!! I just said leave the products that could not be scanned. The cashier was very argumentative and confrontational. No Customer service skills whatsoever! Do...
