Chuck E. Cheese Grand Reopening Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Party, 5-7pm September 20th, 2023

My son Ethan and I always attend Chuck E. Cheese at the Bronx Exterior Mall. We have had multiple parties at the location over the years, both for him and his little cousins, so we are familiar with the place. Ethan is autistic and has other disabilities, so it's hard for a single mom like me to find suitable places for him to play and enjoy himself. I received an email invitation to the party and showed up at 4:30pm, waiting in line to enter the facility. We were greeted by the staff and were allowed in at 5pm. The facility was very nice, and to our surprise, there was a trampoline area where the kids had to wait for 10 minutes to get access. When an attendant finally arrived, we were told that we needed an additional play card and $15 wristbands to enter the trampoline area. My son was so excited that he ran to the cashier, and we waited in line again to purchase a wristband. The cashier told Ethan to remove his shoes and stand under the green line on the wall. Ethan is 7 years old, and his head was at the green line. However, the cashier denied him entry because she wanted his head to be under the green line. My son was devastated and didn't understand why the other kids were able to play and he couldn't. I had to remove him from the facility while he was still crying. We didn't get to use the play card that was given to us, and his day was completely ruined. Despite this upsetting moment, I was able to pay it forward and give his card to another family who couldn't afford to enter the facility. They were thankful. Honestly, Chuck E. Cheese is advertised as a place for children of all ages, and it's disappointing to have a main attraction that is only suitable for toddlers. I wanted to have Ethan's 8th birthday party there, but it's impossible to support a location where children are discriminated against based on their height. It shouldn't have happened at a grand reopening to a customer who was willing to pay for the attraction. It's best for children 7 and older to go to Billy Beez at Bay Plaza; we have never had any issues there, especially for children with disabilities. I'm deleting my Chuck E. Cheese app and no longer want to be a customer there. Lastly the prices have...

I will give this chuck e cheese a great rating because its not that far from my home its in the bronx... Bronx terminal... The food is good my kids love it there... I just really need them or the CEO of this company to look at they customer's comments and ratings and take that into consideration.. Because i feel that all the party packages are WAY OVER EXPENSIVE it is to much MONEY with and without add ons i also feel that its not fair for us parent's that books these events for our child that the $50 deposits are kept by the company or when the event is cancelled its not right at all... There should be more for the customer if or when the event has to be cancelled... There are parent's that's struggling and being able to get that $50 back it will be nice... I also feel that the games do need to be upgraded and at this restaurant they need to try to make more space and keep up with all the equipment that needs replaced or fixed or even upgraded.... And last all chuck e cheese needs to have wifi make sure the signal is strong make sure the wifi is visible to all customers... Thank u for your time if u need to contact me please look me up...

I had my daughter's 2nd birthday here, we did a 12pm party on a Sunday which I highly recommend due to the Overwhelming crowd. our host was a Spanish gentleman who I really wish I could remember his name just because he did such a great job.. So this is my reason for the 3 star instead of 5 star so being I had such a great experience the first time I recommended my sister in law for my niece's birthday which came out great as well but here's where it went wrong we had order almost $75 worth of food waited an hour and 20mins and still didn't receive our food by the time the party was finish (2hours) then was given a refund manager on duty was so not helpful and looked very bothered instead of speeding up our order or offering something else the first thing he said was so you want a refund .. That sucks we went the entire party without food .. Customers should always come first even though the rush your working with kids .. Patients is key ! management needs better customer...

I'm writing this review because I am extremely upset about what happened today when my daughter went to a friend's birthday party at your location. While playing in the trampoline obstacle area with slides and other features, my daughter was pushed by another child. She came out of the area hysterically crying, saying she felt dizzy. When I asked to speak to the manager, Marcos, his response was careless at best. He simply said, "I'm sorry that happened to your daughter, if you need anything, just give us a call." Are you serious? This is a place where kids are supposed to have fun and stay safe. Yes, kids sometimes get hurt, but not like this. The child who pushed my daughter should have been removed, and both parents should have been spoken to. I was watching my daughter, but there were so many kids in the area that it was difficult to keep track of them. There's no limit on the number of kids allowed in there, which makes it incredibly dangerous.
