Caesar's Carpet Center — Local services in New York

I live in Park Slope and wanted to use a neighborhood store for my flooring needs. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a Caesar Romeroesque gentleman who showed me exactly what I needed. His selection was wonderful. As I am a renter, and will probably be in my apartment for another 2-3 year, I didn't want to go to for top notch flooring. Caesar understood my needs and we selected a beautiful floor covering. I told him I wanted to do this as inexpensively as possible. The installation was on time and they cleaned up everything beautifully. However, since I have a portable dishwasher, the floor did buckle upon moving it from the wall to the sink. Since I had told him I wanted to go the cheapest way possible, the floor wasn't glued. The repair was made in a timely manner. The floor installer even texted me photos of him working since I had to leave the apartment and couldn't stay and watch the work be completed. The floor installer was trustworthy, clean, communicative and so very accommodating. He even phoned me later that night to see if I was satisfied. I hope to use Caesar's one day in the future, when I am an owner, as he has all the newest top of the line flooring. I highly recommend Caesar's Floor Covering in Park Slope. This wasn’t just a simple carpet replacement—he removed 20-year-old carpeting from the hallways, stairs, and risers of a three-family home with great care and precision.

What truly sets him apart is the level of workmanship and integrity he brings to the job. Without being asked—and at no additional charge—he reinforced the existing floors and stairs by adding plywood and the necessary materials to ensure a solid foundation for the new carpet. His attention to detail, professionalism, and respect for my home were remarkable.

The cleanup was impeccable. All waste materials were removed, and everything was left clean and orderly. It’s rare to find someone so committed, respectful, and honest in this industry.

I can’t even say enough amazing words about the exemplary job this team at Caesar’s Tiles did in my little Brooklyn apt, which is in an old building and I have so many things I work with music and recording so they were so careful working around and even moving heavy pieces to accomplish the mission of updating my kitchen and foyer space. They even cleaned my stove and sink! They were prompt, honest, careful & respectful - such a high degree of professional and flexible artistry! They had all the right tools and impressive equipment to handle the job with excellence and accuracy and they went way over and above my greatest hopes. The tiles are quality and very lively and creative looking with great durability which will go a long distance and that’s vital, as it would be too much to have to repeat this whole job anytime soon!
