CaterCow — Local services in New York

Positively wonderful company!

We are an office of ~25 near Santa Monica and CaterCow makes lunch happen every day, bringing in local restaurants with great menu options for all: meat eaters, vegans, gluten free. Meals never feel redundant or boring - huge variety of thai, mediterranean, mexican, cafes, indian, bahn mi, southern, fried chicken, pasta, burrata, noodles, sandwiches, wraps, pizza... it's all there.

I really can't say enough about the level of support we receive on a consistent basis from Sean, Riley, and everyone at CaterCow.

The restaurants and meal choices in our calendar rotation are given proper love and attention: Riley does a fantastic job creating the calendar menu and implementing any changes we want in the rotation. And on the very rare occasion a small hiccup occurs with the delivery (we are human, after all), they are on top of transparent communications with the restaurant and quickly bring about a more than satisfactory resolution.

The website is beautifully and efficiently designed for employees and group admins. Simple group calendar to see the daily menus and make selections (note section for adding allergy/dietary requirements/preferences).

On admin side, they've thought of all the features necessary when we need to be hands-on: making changes to tips/editing menu options/adding extra meals/sending guest invite links/cancelling an item. But they take care of our account with great attention, that hardly any involvement is required. We're not spending time hovering, or having to manage our own account. They continue to improve upon themselves and provide us with updates.

I look forward to contacting their support to give them a heads up about holidays we're closed, changes we want in the calendar, or providing positive feedback for the new restaurant in our rotation.

These seemingly small, yet meaningful interactions bring out the best in my attitude and intent on connecting with the world outside of the office walls. There's a remarkable personal touch from everyone there - very much welcomed to have a break and step away from the more strictly professional interactions the day might bring.

I look forward to exchanging messages with CaterCow because I’m gifted with moments of taking full, deep breaths without realizing it, the tension in my neck and eye strain begin to dissipate, and there’s a little more sunshine in the day because of it.

CaterCow has unparalleled customer service—truly a gem in the corporate catering space!

I've been using CaterCow to feed the staff at my company for over a year now (about 15 months), and I can't say enough good things about them. They’ve supported me every time I’ve needed help—whether it was a mix-up on my end (more often than I’d like to admit!) or, on the very rare occasion, something unforeseen on the restaurant’s side.

At one point, there was a hiccup with a restaurant fulfilling an order, and even then, they only reached out to me after they already had a solution in place. They handled all the stress so I didn’t have to.

Everyone I’ve ever interacted with at CaterCow has been kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful. That level of service feels rare these days.

I’ve also spoken with restaurant partners who’ve shared the same sentiment—CaterCow supports them, too. It’s clear this platform cares deeply about both the customer and the food provider, which is part of why I specifically chose them over some of the more popular SF corporate catering companies. Many of those gave the impression they were good to corporations but not necessarily to restaurants. CaterCow, on the other hand, is the full package—thoughtful, reliable, and respectful on all sides of the process.

I've used CaterCow for years and have always had a great experience! My company has multiple offices and I use CC for all our locations, at least once a week, so our orders vary from small to very large orders. The CaterCow dashboard has a calendar to keep track of all the upcoming deliveries which is super useful!

Once an order is submitted, they can create a little menu that you can share with our team or download if you want to print it out. I also love that when you are searching through restaurants, you can see the per person price before you click on a vendor or simply filter by your budget as well as types of cuisine. You're also able to choose between individually wrapped and traditional buffet-style or even have the option to invite my colleagues and clients to order individually (super useful around holiday seasons when we're not sure who'll be around for lunch!)

You also have the capability to spend less time looking through menus and choose packages that the CaterCow team curates for you while accommodating food allergies/dietary restrictions you may have in your group.

All-in-all, everything is always on time, setting up the billing to go straight through to accounting was easy (though you can always pay with card if you want); the CaterCow team is ALWAYS very helpful and have even helped me out when I have been in a bind in the past and needed last minute help.
