I’ve never been here before but searched online and came across here. Called in a to go order and was expecting lunch, but they had brunch so I went for that. I chose the fish tacos and chicken enchiladas. It was very good! I enjoyed the pairings they did with the brunch combo, the fish with the mixed greens was good, came with two lime slices which was great. The salad was appropriately and dressed with some sort of oil & vinaigrette mixture, it wasn’t drippy or gooey and the greens were nice and crispy! The portion size was nice and full, it was good but lacking a kick of flavor, additionally the tortilla wrap was a bit soggy and soft, I would’ve preferred it be crispier or be able to withstand the sauce from the beans and tomato sauce it’s topped with and sitting in. As well as a side of sour cream or guacamole would’ve been a good side. When I went to pick up my order, the location was nice and clean, spacious, dimly lit (so its great for groups, dates, family, friends, dinner party, brunch), lots of tables, a bar, a stage (which had live music performance going on), and bathrooms that are upkept. Customer service was average, but at end of transaction employee informed me about hours, and I was happy to find out that they are open almost near 24 hours! I believe they close only from 2am-6am if I am recalling correctly. This is great bc in New York it is hard to find places open and serving food, with spacious seating, nice menu selection that anyone might be able to enjoy, and pretty decent parking available. In a quiet area so you get that cobble stone, warehouse district vibe with that New York feel but less busy with traffic &’pedestrians. Great for New Yorkers and out of Towners bc although it’s on a quiet street, just a few streets up are highways and bridges that can take you out of state, out of town, or into the city! Or if coming back from a night out in the city and grabbing some food to eat in or go, this spot would be ideal. I wouldn’t describe it as a diner or a place that open long hours with bad food, I think the food quality, seating, location, and space make it a trendy place you can stop by at anytime and would most likely be pleased. Lastly, I wasn’t sure what the music setting was there. Although it was live music when I went in, it didn’t seem like the musicians were playing covers or singing songs I was familiar with. Which is no problem but I wouldn’t be confident to know what type of music they play through the day, I appreciate performers and days/nights dedicated to them but I wouldn’t want to go there to eat and sit all the time if music I’m not familiarized with. Otherwise and overall, a good experience and reasonable prices, and what seems like lunch specials and deals for each course of the day (breakfast, brunch, dinn). In conclusion, I would recommend to go here and would go back again!

This place saved my son's 10th birthday--and possibly my marriage. For my son's 10th birthday I booked a Beat the Bomb: Slime experience for 11 kids. I told my husband he had one job: to book a restaurant for lunch after. He booked Love and Dough on OpenTable and confirmed it in the morning. When I showed up today to frost cupcakes and set up the table, the staff told me I had to call the manager. He informed me that surprise! It was a prix fixe, $50 per kid. I have no problem with a restaurant having a prix fixe for large parties--they should just tell you that when you book or confirm. I said no one told us that and it wasn't what we had planned for and the manager said "I know, you wanted something cheap. This is not a cheap place." I said "can I make a suggestion--you should limit your OpenTable reservations to smaller parties then" and the manager said "I don't need your suggestions" and, while I went looking for other restaurants, had the staff kick my 70 year old mother in law and 13 year old daughter out into the street holding cupcakes and presents. I stumbled into superfine to ask if they could take us. Not only did they whip up a table for 14 with no notice they printed out menus with my son's name and Happy Birthday on them at the top. They made special orders for the kids, all the food was delicious (especially the shoestring fries) and every staff member was so nice to us. This place is a gem (and that's not just the Winter Spritz talking). They reminded me there are good people (and delicious food) in the world. I will be forever grateful to them. If you're considering coming here, do.

Returning to the urban roots of my upbringing in the gritty, pre-gentrified streets of Alphabet City and the Bowery, I crossed the Brooklyn Bridge after a considerable absence, now residing on the West Coast. The occasion was a friend's party at Superfine, and from the moment I stepped inside, I was transported back to the vibrant world I once called home.

Superfine's open loft space exuded an authentic charm, with its exposed brick walls and effortlessly cool ambiance. The blend of intellectual energy without a hint of pretension immediately captivated me. As I mingled with the crowd, I found myself drawn to the multiple buffets, each boasting gourmet specialties that could rival those found in Milan or local farm market tasting.

From the meticulously curated charcuterie board to the irresistible mini burgers that disappeared as quickly as they were served, every offering was a delight for the senses. The hummus was so divine that I found myself tempted to drizzle it over everything in sight, while the thinly sliced cauliflower, marinated to perfection, was a revelation next to the refreshing kale salad that I couldn't get enough of.

And just when I thought my culinary journey couldn't get any better, the staff began passing around tidbits of their famous spinach lasagna, which was simply divine. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service remained impeccable, with the staff demonstrating remarkable attentiveness and grace, even as we inadvertently crowded the bar.

I must make a special mention of our exceptional server on February 24, 2024, whose effortless agility as he navigated through the throng of guests while balancing trays of martinis was truly remarkable. Additionally, I had the pleasure of engaging in delightful conversation with Tanya, a fabulous manager whose passion for organic, farm-to-table cuisine was evident in both her personality and culinary philosophy. Originally from Washington, her perspective held the refreshing organic West Coast ethos, enriching my dining experience even further.

In essence, Superfine is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of the vibrant spirit and diverse flavors that define urban living. From its inviting atmosphere to its delectable offerings and impeccable service, it's a testament to the timeless allure of city...

I want to share the time and care Scotty, and the Superfine team, gave my daughter, who suffers from multiple food allergies, at a friends birthday party.

My daughter is rarely able to order from a restaurant menu due to her multiple food allergies which often leaves her out of social events. When a close friend invited her to a birthday meal at Superfine I was ready to send her with a meal from home, which is the safe choice, but leaves her looking different and draws attention to her. Attention like this for a teen is never fun.

I took a chance and contacted the restaurant and a kind worker named Scotty replied to me and offered to speak on the phone. He was kind and thoughtful and had already done research into the menu and her allergies. He told me how they could accommodate her and said he personally would ensure her food was cooked on separate pans and he would ensure she can enjoy her meal and be safe. After that call I felt confident sending her to the restaurant.

During the party my daughter kept on texting me saying how kind everyone was and how they talked her through the ingredients and food preparation so she felt safe. They even prepared an salad just for her to enjoy, which she loved. She raved about her main meal and said she felt ‘normal’ for the first time at a restaurant. The burger she ordered required that she bring a burger bun from home. They took her bun to the back to make her burger and served it to the table so it looked like typical experience.

I can not say enough about this amazing thoughtful customer service. Restaurant businesses are busy and complex and I don’t expect them to accommodate her varied allergies so when the good people of Superfine went above and beyond like this warrants a...
