I’ve read previous reviews regarding this place and that’s not the experience I had. We bought fish , 2 types, one was flounder fillet ( wich was fresh . The other one was red snapper). Upon arriving home we opened the bag where the red snapper was and it was really bad ( expired, rotten just foul) when we took it back to the store to return it he look at it and said this is fresh fish and you are crazy ( you can tell by the eyes the fish is not fresh the eyes were bad). Regardless he instead just put the fish back with the rest of the fish to see it to the next customer takes it . Would never buy from here ever again .. Btw his Spanish worker said to me ( they don’t care they just want to sell everything ) I’ll follow up with a call to food...

It is old. I’m not going to say dirty or smelly- just old- with very little money put in it from the owner. But it feels authentic and it has the cheapest prices of any Chinese grocery store in Flushing I think. It’s not cheap- (flushing is expensive) but it’s the lowest I could find. The cashiers are rude but I don’t care.

I think the food is fresh- but of course you have to be smart and inspect it carefully. Everything. Tons of fish. Very cheap meat. I go every week.

The ladies on the street just east of there have the best deals in town- much cheaper for bulk amounts.

And you can get grapes and fruit randomly on the street.

Very inconsiderate and rude for this business owner to block half the sidewalk on a very busy street in Flushing!!! He must be making a ton of money so he doesn’t care about the inconvenience to residents here. I know he’s gotten fines for not complying but at this point it must just be like a cost of doing business when he pays these fines. The only redeeming thing about this business is the super inexpensive organic blueberries and strawberries which they have from time to time. If you’re lucky you’ll find some without any mold or rotten fruit and just $1 for a box or even 50 cents sometimes!!!! So every time I pass by I check...
