@goodcoconutny 🚨Grand Opening in Flushing🚨 Coconut Snowball $12.99 - first off, it was surprisingly small, maybe slightly bigger than a baseball. It was basically the flesh of a coconut. I put in the fridge since I wasn’t going to drink it immediately. I certainly don’t want flashbacks of drinking it warm. Thank goodness for that. The flesh is very soft, you can easily poke through with a pointed straw. It’s naturally sweet, but subtle sweet. I’m someone who likes drinks on the very sweet side so this it was rather bland. There’s a freshness to it though. There also isn’t much coconut water inside. The flesh is edible of course. Overall, I wouldn’t get it again, and certainly not for that price. Most of the cost is probably for the labor. . Coconut Pudding $7.88 - comes with toasted coconut flakes on top. This was very good. I’d say, get this if you can’t decide. I’m a pudding/creme brûlée, panna cotta person, and if you are as well, you’re gonna like this. Not only it was very good, it comes in a glass mason jar and the portion is a decent portion. I would definitely get this again. . They offer drinks and other coconut desserts as well. I think it’s worth trying if you are a coconut fan. I like coconut but not all variations. I don’t like coconut water on its own but I love coconut milk/cream. It’s also good mixed with broth for hotpot soup base and in my favorite mock-tail,...
Read moreReally small shop in the basement food court. The food court is crowded and there can be a short line at Good Coconut. I really enjoy their puddings and drinks! The coconut milk and water drinks are very refreshing and light. You keep drinking until you realize that there's nothing left. The coconut water with water chestnut popping boba is very unique and delicious! Their puddings are all really good. The matcha and red bean one is not too sweet and there's a slight bitterness from the matcha. The mango coconut pudding is light and refreshing. The coconut with toasted coconut flakes is decent but the coconut flakes doesn't do it for me. My favorite is the taro and coconut pudding because there's good mix of coconut pudding and taro whereas the others only had the topping on top. If you like coconut pudding from dim sum, you'll like the coconut puddings here!
Overall really delicious and I'm definitely coming back for...
Read moreGreat Coconut Milk with Coconut Meat. Weird to have clear tapioca pearls in with the meat but still tasty. The coconut pudding was good too.
The wait for the Snowball was an hour long so I skipped that. Looking at how they were extracting the coconut meat whole, I can see why it took so long. There were about 5 orders of the Snowball waiting to be filled.
Nice staff, very friendly. The stall is inside the food court/mall. So it was really loud, so when ordering, you have to talk really loud.
The line was very awkward since it was near an entrance and the hallways were not very big. The line split the hallway into two, trying not to impede the other stalls...
