I came in on my birthday wanting a change in my natural hair journey from never dying my hair to a drastic hair color change. Upon entering I asked for a hair consultations before starting my hair, and I show a picture on the right, of the hair color i think that would go with me. She automatically dismissed my request of showing the picture because it was too much color to deal with she said. No way was she an expert of knowing what's needed on a new client because she told me choose a color after showing the color I want...this is the trick people, so they won't be held responsible if you choose a bad color. I wanted you to choose one that you know as an expert which look best for your client and I told them, I never colored my hair. It's not the color I'm disappointed from, it's the style that got me really dissatisfied is that I had a silk press before, this is not a silk press. She overcharged me $150 for what???? They only good for perm, wash and sets. Not experts...

I called prior to ask if they cut hair and I’m clearly a man on the phone and they said yes. I sat and waited 25 minutes to get my hair cut from this salon. Eventually the hairdresser came up to me and politely said “we don’t cut men’s hair here.” I’ve been to several salons in my past and I’ve never encountered this before. The salon name is legitimately false advertisement because they claim “unisex”. If you’re a man I don’t recommend coming here at all. I will say the staff seems nice from my short encounter with them and gave me a recommendation to go to somewhere else because there’s only a select few open salons in the area. She eventually offered to cut it but clearly didn’t actually want to do it so I felt uncomfortable myself. 2 stars for...

This place is my fave salon to go. I've been going there since 2004. I'm a big fan. In the past, you would get tips on how to treat your hair and the hairdressers were very knowledgeable. I've seen continuous results in my hair growth. Now, even though the staff has changed, the hair care is the same. They follow your directions and concern to the T.
