Citi Pavers NYC — Local services in New York

We never leave negative reviews for businesses, but we would strongly advise against working with this company. We hired Citi Pavers to install pavers and a fence in our yard in early May. They completed the paver portion of the project, but still owe us a $5,000 refund for the fence, which was not installed.

After the paver installation, we learned from Citi Pavers that there would be challenges installing the fence due to a tree/roots along the property line. JR from Citi Pavers was initially accommodating and told us that we could cancel the fence portion of the project and we would be refunded the nearly $5,000 dollars for the fence within 10-14 days. It has been over a month since we were supposed to receive a refund and Citi Pavers has not responded to our frequent requests for updates in 15 days.

We gave this company ample time to respond to our outreach via text and email before resorting to a negative review. Hopefully this will get us a response and the refund...

I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. I hired them to repair and level my patio. They left it looking much worse than before, including leaving a lot of rubble and materials to clean up. In addition, what was supposed to be a 1-day job ended up extending over 2 weeks, and I had to persistently beg them to come back to finish.

Update July 2025. A reply had been added here claiming that this is a false review, so I’ve added screen shots of my text exchange with Citi Pavers confirming the appointment, which began on May 23rd, 2025. This is not legit company. They are not registered as business. The license they provided in a contract was not real either. Once you pay them they disappear and do not answer your calls. Please do your due diligence before hiring. Check the license, identification of the workers.
