Came here few years back and had bad experience. Came back after few years and it’s still bad. So If you looking to ruin your Sunday morning it’s definitely place to come in.
First of all, the cashier girl with long dark hair gave me an attitude, she was really rude.
I ordered tuna bagel with lettuce, tomatoes and onion, cup of coffee and side of Cole slaw.
I tried first my salad and it’s was already bad. Feels like it was expired like few days ago. After I tried my bagel and I didn’t find any onions on that, I went to get some and manager or whoever was helping me told there is a plenty of onions in it- yes it was somewhere in the middle of the bagel 🥯 , but I’ve never seen bagels that comes with white onions, usually they do put red onions ( but if you have this option maybe it’s better to ask what kind I want?). This tuna has nothing inside besides tuna and mayo… no spices, no celery, no carrots .. I was thinking that this tuna bagel without soul.
About Cole slaw - they offer me to get something else but I took my money back so it was no issue with it .
Coffee that i order had burning smell and taste. Not sure when they made it , feels like yesterday.
I think you can get better quality and taste bagel just in your local deli next to your house.
The guy who helped me with my issues the only one who is doing his job good there.
So definitely do not recommend this place...
Read moreThis place is always busy with customers of every age, race, creed, nationality etc, etc. What they have in common is an appreciation of the store, its personnel and its fare. My choice is a hot plain bagel with butter and a cup of coffee with half& half. The store is kept clean and the line moves well because there is ample knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful staff to assist everyone. Although I like a plain bagel and butter, I know there are a lot of spreads one may add to his or her bagel. I also know there is a wide variety of bagels to choose from. Today I took home a mixed dozen of bagels and a dozen bialiys. I made one dish with eggplant tomatoes and chicken and another with eggplant, tomatoes and shrimp and my family and I had a good time with these two and the two I brought from Bagel Boy. The store offers freshly brewed flavored and unflavored coffees.Prices are reasonable and everyone can find something within range. My total bill today was $27.00. The one downside of this location is parking so please travel with a buddy to man the vehicle because being ticketed is a distinct probability! I was pleasantly surprised that I got bialiys at 3pm today. They sell out early. What I bought were freshly baked and very tasty. Go visit. You can sit and eat or take it home, or walk and eat. However you do is up to you but please try out this place....

I'd preface by saying i been going to Bagel boy for over 20 years. walked in at 530 asked for turkey on a hero and roll, pastrami on roll (3 sandwiches). All 3 with lettuce tomato and cheese. the guy who took my order and made it and rang me up seemed blown away by my order as if he never heard someone ask for a deli sandwich. Or maybe he was upset he would have to clean the deli slicer again 1hr30mins before closing.
so lets do the math, the pastrami on the roll was 11.95 plus a 1 dollar for cheese and 1 dollar for lettuce and tomato. (13.95 for a pastrami on a roll)
1 turkey roll and hero for 13.90. plus 1 dollar per sandwich for cheese and 1 dollar per sandwich for lettuce and tomato. PLUS a surcharge of 2.50 for a hero.
basically im paying a little under 40 dollars for 3 sandwiches. when i asked for receipt which i never do, i was confused by the extra charges.
Ive been in the deli business with my father for over 30 years. and this is PRICE GOUGING.
Get this. i called the other bagel boy in bay ridge they said i should be charged 50 cents per slice of cheese.and i shouldnt be charged extra for a hero or lettuce and tomato. they said would make it right if i came in. but my issue is with this location .
