Had a particularly bad experience here this past week - I’ve been going here for around 6 years, and have dealt with bad attitudes from some of the nail techs throughout my time going, particularly from Gigi.

Gigi was doing my nails this past week, and my ring accidentally came off when she removed my plastic glove with the moisturizer. I realized right after I left that I no longer had my ring, so I went back to see about finding it. I was very polite about it and had no hard feelings when I returned, and thought we could simply just locate my ring together.

Instead, Gigi raised her voice at me, continuously said that she didn’t know where my ring would be (even though I had just brought this up) and then proceeded to shove her trash can at me and told me I could go through it.

I found this to be very rude, as it’s not very comfortable or sanitary to go through someone’s trash - especially one filled with stuff soiled by strangers’ hands and feet. I proceeded to go through the trash bin as this ring means a lot to me, and had to go through other customers’ discarded gloves and clipped nails amongst other soiled nail items. It was pretty disgusting, and the entire time that I was searching, Gigi just kept repeating that she didn’t know where it was (which was highly unhelpful) and she was raising her voice and acting very dramatically so the whole salon was watching me rifle through the trash can while she watched.

Eventually I found my glove and found my ring, so I was victorious. Gigi did not apologize and once I found it, she just glared at me and said nothing. I had lotion and stuff all over my hands from the trash, so I went over to the sink, washed my hands and left without any further acknowledgment from her.

It was a very demeaning experience and one that was very disappointing for many reasons. I’ve been going to this nail place for 6 years as it’s very convenient for me and I love to support local, but have to finally call it quits because I can’t support a business that treats people...

DANGER! BEWARE the WAXING services!! I ended up bruised and bleeding for days after a Brazilian. Two weeks ago I had a lovely pedicure here and decided to return the next day for a waxing. A painful 45 minutes later I left with 2 two-plus inch tears in the creases outside of my lady parts (euphemizing here to avoid censorship). One bled for two days. I spent the following 4 days on a family beach trip, worrying about ruining everyone’s vacation due to landing in the ER with an infection. I have since healed but one side has 2-and-a-half inches of raised scar tissue. Apparently, I should have gone to a dr for stitches.

Two women hovered over me, asking me to hold my parts back and telling me “you have very sensitive skin” and “ this is the painful part”. I feel like an idiot for not stopping this in the middle but I didn’t realize they were actually tearing my skin. They remained very calm and were talking about everything in another language. I hadn’t had a wax in months and figured that was why it hurt so much. I didn’t realize I was bleeding until I got home.

Do yourself a favor and stick to the services in the front room unless they can produce some proper certification from an accredited waxing/beauty program. But, probably not even then. It was a pretty stressful couple of days for me. That was probably my...

I have had a manicure or pedicure for about a year. I feel like I needed some rejuvenations especially with the pandemic. I googled best nail salon in Brooklyn and found Cobble Nails & Spa. I made an appointment for an SNS with Nail tips and the Italian Purissima Organic Spa Pedicure. Wow! Amazing !! Such a relaxing day. Very clean and followed Covid Safety precautions. I am so sorry I forgot the nail tech's name either Cheryl or Sharon I think. She was so nice and professional. The pedicure treatment was wonderful.. She gave me a new set of feet. I had suffered with foot and ankle injury during the pandemic and this was so needed. The aromatherapy massage and treatment was so relaxing!! My SNS nail extensions came out really nice. The owner was in positive spirits and very professional. Even googled some information for me that I was requesting. I will be back in about a week for a Keritan nail treatment and a hot stone massage. Best Nail Salon in Brooklyn .. My new nail spot! Pic was taken a little over two weeks after...

Literally the worst experience ever. I’ve been here dozens of times and supported them throughout the pandemic. However the last two times I made an appointment, I waited 30-45 minutes *after the scheduled appointment time*. Today, I called to make an appointment and before even saying anything, the owner (male, 50s) yelled “We’re too busy, bye!” and hung up the phone. I always make it a priority to support local businesses and leave generous tips for the aestheticians. However, this behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. It’s been a very unpleasant series of experiences, especially to loyal customers who have supported the business when it was needed it the most. However I would not recommended going to an establishment run by such an entitled owner.

One broke after 3 days and one after 5. I am not rough on my nails, at all. Mine will go a month and not break. Paid 68 dollars for service and tipped 13 so spent over 80 to have nails for 3 days. Also, I called and asked if they did acrylic and the guy said yes so I made an appt. Then I have tips on and she’s about to start putting color on to tell me they don’t do acrylic and when I said the guy on the phone said they do she told me he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I decided to proceed bc she had already spent time on my nails. I tipped her bc it was not her fault that he told me something wrong but extremely disappointed in this place. I would go in to get them fixed but I’m not even in brooklyn for another month.
