Horrible experience at this location. Came with my Uncle to buy a pair of shoes and the salesperson was absolutely terrible. He did not look like he cared to help or wanted to sell shoes at the store. When we asked why there were so many wrinkles on one particular shoe, he simply answered that it was tried a lot and would not offer a new pair if we were to buy it. Why would i want to buy shoes over $1,100 USD to get worn out shoes? Since we were short of time and my uncle needed the shoes, he bought another pair instead. After paying the $1,100+ amount, we asked if we could get a shoe tongue and he only offered to purchase it. These things cost nothing to a company like this since they are made of plastic. This is the least you can do. Additionally, we asked for a cloth to wipe the shoes and he acted like it was so much work when there was a drawer full of green cloth right next to the cashier. Very disappointed that they hire someone who should probably be working at a 7/11 since they did not care to serve...

Exceedingly poor customer service for such a supposedly high-end brand.

We went in fully intending to buy a pair of $450 velvet slippers for a tuxedo. The older salesman who “helped” us didn’t greet us, and it went downhill from there. We were unfailingly polite throughout the interaction, while he did the absolute bare minimum, and did it with a bad attitude (bordering on actively rude) the entire time.

While my fiancé tried on the shoes he didn’t ask a single question about the fit, didn’t offer any information about the shoes, and pretty much rolled his eyes the entire time he was forced to interact with us.

He lost the sale based entirely on his attitude, as the shoes themselves were beautiful.

If you hate working with the public so much, maybe consider a different...

I was recommended Crockett & Jones dress shoes by my tailor. I bought a couple of pairs that go along with my suit and absolutely love them. Recently, I went in to the 55th st store to purchase a maintenance shoe care kit. I was serviced by Manuir. He was incredibly thorough in explaining what items I needed to keep my shoes looking their best, how to use them, and was patient and accommodating with answering all of my questions. He also took the time to demonstrate how to use the products properly to get the best results.
