Nail One — Local services in New York

This has to be the worst place I have been to. 2 elderly ladies run this place. The one elderly lady over filed my nails so much it hurt! They are now very thin even after she put 3 coats on!!!!! When I would tell her what she was doing wrong, she didn't like it. She filed so much that when she put my nails under the lights it burned. They do a VERY lousy job and then have the gal to overcharge. I don't mind paying for good service but this was AWFUL!!!$63.00 for a terrible gel Mani. waste of my time and money!!! Pls find a better place. I would never go back...

My aunt and I had a lovely time here! Helen and Rosa collaborated on a beautiful holiday-inspired design for my aunt based on a photo we showed them. We both got regular pedicures and gel manicures and got out of there for under $200 total. The salon is cozy and clean and the service was very professional. Set up an appointment right before vacation to get a gel mani and regular pedi. Although the salon is clean and the owner is very kind, the nail technician I had did a terrible job with my nails. Rosa was very sloppy, I had to ask her to redo several nails because the nail polish was not covering the full nail or had gotten onto my cuticles.
