Dime Community Bank — Local services in New York

As a small business and banking with BOA for 11 years, I can only say that DIME and the team has gain a new customer. We will be moving ALL our banking accounts to them. Having NO working relationship or accounts with them they went above and beyond to help us and get us the PPP loan. In 3 days Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday (Marybeth) gave me access to a Portal - reviewed all of our information and forms and Sunday night sent us an email that our application was on the wait list with the SBA - 1 weeks later we got funded. While getting our funds through DIME, BOA sent me an email just now (month later April 5th I submitted and May 4th they replay) saying that their underwriting team just finished reviewing our forms - a MONTH LATER!!!, I submitted all of the documents and not yet over to the SBA - so in ALL we are saying BYE to BOA and migrating to DIME. I hope more Small Businesses do the same to really show the Big Banks that the force of small business...

We applied for the PPL through one of the big-name banks and found out after waiting for weeks that we were denied. We thought all was lost but then our SBA contact introduced us to Dime Community Bank. I e-mailed, LiLi from Dime, (The BEST even though we never met in-person) she replied to me within hours and help us step by step with the application process. Within a week we received notification we were approved for the PPL. When the pandemic struck, we were not sure how we would survive but to our relief the Dime Bank came to our aid. We are also so grateful to be a recipient of Dime’s Community Chest Grant. In the most difficult times, Dime was our lifeline for our small business.
