The anesthetic was injected on site, but the Dr did not wait long enough for the effects to take hold and began surgery as soon as the injection s were done. At this point I felt the scalpel slice through my neck without verbal preparation and the pain cause me to clamp up holding my gut while doing my utmost to avoid moving my neck. It was only after I began to perfusly sweat during the operation that he asked if it hurt, which I responded yes, as by this time the painkillers were only just starting to numb the pain and I was able to relax my body.

All else aside, he was very precise and efficient in his surgery procedure, working quickly and patching up the site within minutes of starting. If you are going to see this doctor for a temporary issue. I would not go to this dermatology office. Their administrative staff is extremely rude and unknowledgeable. The wait is always extremely long and the doctor will give you no more than 10-15 minutes of his time because of his large number of patients. If you have an issue, the doctor cannot be reached by phone and instead his administrative staff will try to resolve the issue with you and go back and forth.
