Did you know that at a time like this, this store is closing down their overnight shift. (During Covid19) No not just to customers, but to the employees that have been there for years. & I don't mean closing it temporarily, I mean permanently. Forcing the current employees, majority of them having two jobs, to choose between relocating (more travel) or MAYBE offering them a position to switch to the day shift. Again that probably wouldn't be a problem, had majority of the overnight staff not had day time jobs already. Does the store manager know how this will effect her workers? YES. Does she care? NO. As a matter of fact, the final decision has been made TODAY to close down overnight & none of the staff have been informed by her that this change will take place WITHIN A MONTH. A reliable source who is close with the higher ups actually took pity and felt bad that the higher ups have yet to address the shift & took it upon themselves to spill the beans. On the bright side of things, they will be moving ONE employee for sure to the day shift. That employee being the daughter of the store managers friend. The same employee who was CAUGHT stealing HOURS of time by punching in & just sitting down in the break room or hiding in the bathroom. The same employee that was supposed to be FIRED for those actions. The same employee that SLEEPS in the aisles, & on the very counter where they are supposed to be working. The management and lack of leadership in this store is DISGUSTING & not just because of this incident, it's because the person who was chosen to lead, was only chosen because they were there the longest. Not because they knew how to steer the ship. This store is run on EXTREME FAVORITISM, NEPOTISM, UNORGANIZATION, GOSSIP FROM THE "LEADER" & so on and so on. These are all facts that can be proven, not just...
Read moreIâll start by saying I am NOT one to write negative reviews but itâs honestly a wonder this pharmacy is openâ it is truly not even functional.
They do not respond to refills placed by prescriber, on the app, or via their phone system whatsoever. Prescriptions are either not filled at all, âdelayedâ indefinitely, or straight up cancelled with no follow-up or information as to why. If you need anything accomplished, you have to either call and speak to someone or physically go in.
If you call, expect a horrendous hold time with someone picking up, not speaking, then putting you back on hold endlessly. Recently, theyâve stopped answering entirely and the call will be disconnected as soon as youâre transferred through to the pharmacy.
If you go in, youâll wait on a line of 15 people while six employees stand behind the counter doing nothing. The workplace is a disastrous mess of medications strewn everywhere and even the pharmacist looks entirely lost. In any event, expect to speak to the rudest person youâve ever encounteredâ I really believe a customer could drop dead on their counter and they wouldnât care.
They also do not keep regular prescriptions in stock regardless of how long or regularly youâve been picking them upâ meaning you might go days or even weeks without necessary medication. They make no effort to track when they are low in stock and there is no communication as to when / if your RX will come in. Again, you will have to physically call or march in there to follow up and go through this awful process once again.
Seriously, go to ANY other pharmacy in NYC. Whatever convenience this location may offer is not worth...
Read moreThe manager at this store is conducting suspicious activity. I tried to report someone is stealing in aisle 7 but no one would help me. I was directed there by the Asian pharmacist to aisle 7 to buy soap. I saw a short black fellow who is 4 feet tall steal about six to eight bottles of shampoo and run. I reported it to the Asian lady who works at the pharmacy but she pretended not to listen. The black security guard was there but I think they are letting protestors steal stuff because of solidarity or something. I mentioned it to him and he just looked at me and smiled. The Asian lady seemed to be afraid because her coworker at the pharmacy was black and the security guard also, so she didnât want to report it. The Manager hung up on me and didnât connect me to the register or the pharmacy after three calls. He kept cutting me off even though I called at 6:45 which is not closing time. These people donât seem to care about illegal activity but compromising customer safety is not right. I was there before 5:10 and spent 20 minutes or more. The thief was tiny and came in at about 5:18 was in and out in about two minutes or less. And there are other reviews like Amma who was stopped for shopping at 3am for being black for no good reason. So when I report an actual shoplifter they stare at me like itâs âbusiness as usualâ. This stop is only 5 minutes from manhattan but it might as well be jersey given the Sopranos style operation they...
