Duane Reade — Local services in New York

Never had a problem with the pharmacy or store itself. I check the prices of their "grocery" items against the local supermarket prices and find that they are much cheaper on the items that I favor. I am very pleased that they will run a sale for several weeks instead of one week. The service reps at the check out are extremely nice and professional. The store is clean and shelves organized. As far as having items under lock and key; well, that speaks for itself. Whenever I ring to have a store rep come to unlock the case for an item, the wait time is minimal. I have been shopping here for four years with no complaints. Well, maybe one; that is when the consumers who patronize the food vendors outside Duane Read leave their food containers in front of and on the side...

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received yesterday (06/26/2025 at 8:43 PM) at the Walgreens in 7301 37th Ave, Jackson Heights, NY 11372. The cashier at the register was very impolite and exhibited rude behavior. I had a question about the cash rewards system after my purchase, and that old lady was unwilling to explain it clearly. Her impatience and angry voice made for a very negative experience, to the point where I no longer wish to shop at Walgreens and intend to share my experience with friends. I strongly recommend that Walgreens provide customer service training to its staff to prevent similar incidents and ensure a more positive experience...

As a regular customer we went there with mask with cautiously today and there was 1 lady employee came up with the stocking cart with a mask so we move out her way and than there was another lady employee without the mask and saying “6 feet away please” which make no sense to me as she working inside the drug store without the mask at this time .:)) The 2nd thing is the bold customer guy and a baby without the mask massing around with the racist song “ This dude is like a zombie Hu hu hu ...” which means I wear a mask but that is for all of us ignorant. Need a policy inside the the store for employee as well as customers. We will keep visiting for further...
