Yi-Xin Hair Salon has given me the worst haircut I've ever received in my life. I sat down and attempted to show pictures and describe exactly what I wanted but the male barber was very dismissive and barely acknowledged what I said and showed. He also displayed how he was very unskilled throughout the haircut. He didn't wet my hair before cutting it, he stopped to do other things numerous times and took his time to return, and stabbed the back of my neck with the scissors constantly. The end result was abysmal too, the front was very uneven, the sides were cut way too short and he completely botched the back, so much so that he didn't even bother to show it to me. The price came out to 20 dollars, which was absurd considering you can get better haircuts than what they offer for a lower price elsewhere, I truly could have had anyone I know give me a haircut and it would've came out better. I've been going to Jong-Ro Barber Shop for about a year now. It''s a shame that an establishment with such a high reputation has been replaced with one with an inadequate and severely lacking stylist. I will miss the old barbers but I am happy that they're enjoying their retirement. I will never return to that establishment again. If you're looking for a haircut, make sure you pass over this place. You could do better literally...

Great haircuts. I love this place. I’m very particular about my haircuts and am often unsatisfied with other salons, but the barber here consistently gives great haircuts. You can tell he cares. The place is always clean, and the staff is always attentive and works hard. I’m a cheap guy but I have no problem tipping much more than I usually do here....
