Very nondescript and a little difficult to find. Hard to believe such an iconic place has no signage or welcoming advertisers. I walked into a place that looked closed only to be greeted by a very nice girl that told me that they don't do tours, no one was there right now and they don't sell T-shirts or any kind of memorabilia. What!? WTH?! I paid a cab to run me from the Statue of Liberty all the way to the Electric Lady studios to see where Jimi Hendrix created and performed his recording magic! As someone who plays guitar and is a music lover it was very cool stumbling upon this place as I explored the city on my last day there. The greatest city in the world has so much to see and do that someone like me didn't even think of here until I was there. Hopefully I get a chance to go back and possibly get a tour of the place.
