I have somehow had my best and worst massage at this establishment. The first time I came in, I'd booked an appointment for a back and foot massage. They took me back immediately and the masseuse I had was incredible - thorough and so relaxing. And although it's a no frills place (don't expect aromatherapy or peace and quiet), the pricing is very reasonable for the service. I was very satisfied and excited to return.

When I went this past weekend, though, the same service was a lot less enjoyable. Their space was overflowing with clients, so although I had an appointment I was walked two blocks down the road to an alternative location. There, I felt I was rushed into the room and my masseuse did not do a great job. He was extremely rough, even though I told him a couple times that the pressure was too much for me. Further, even though there was a timer on, the massage felt frantic and rushed, which was uncomfortable and kept me from being able to fully relax. The masseuse also had long finger nails that kept scratching me. I appreciate that this place has competitive pricing but unless I could ensure I was getting a masseuse I trusted, I probably...

Nancy, you done did it. I think I've had one of the best foot massages, EVER. I highly recommend her if you have a chance to visit. She did a terrific pressure point foot massage. I have VERY sensitive little feet and she took great care in covering the entire foot and Achilles area to work out all of the aches and pains. I've been training for a half marathon so I've been heavy on the feet in the last month or so and was in desperate need of some relaxation. Nancy's not the pounding/scratching/slapping type of masseuse. She feels through the sole of your foot finding the tight spots and deep massages those areas. She works between the toes, above the toes, into the arches, along the base of your heel. She's got very strong arms/hands but she understood that I wanted more pressure point than anything else. Massage was decent, however when it came to checkout. They only do cash, so a worker brought me around the block to an atm inside another massage place and said I could pay there. Everything was fine until the actual payment. They insisted I tip and wouldn’t let me leave unless I tipped them, so I gave them a $20 initially and then she said if for 4 people tip needs to be more and I’m thinking “are you serious” a tip is not mandatory. Anyways, I pulled out a $10 and gave it to the person which was $30 total and then she said “we don’t accept 10’s”. Do you have anything else, at this point I felt like I was being held hostage. Anyways I have them another $20 so that was $40 total and then she said “thank you, you can go now.” Worst massage...
