My experience with Ellen was amazing from start to finish. I was seeking someone to make a dress from scratch inspired by an old magazine clipping I had from over 20 years ago. When I first met Ellen, she was welcoming and very professional. She made me feel empowered by allowing me to share my vision and by asking the right questions to make sure that is something I truly wanted. She quickly gained my trust, not just from her expertise and professionalism, but by making the recommendation to try on dresses to make sure this is what I truly wanted. She is an extremely gifted dressmaker and visionary, and created the most beautiful wedding dress. It fits me perfectly, and I feel so beautiful in it. The dress is more than I could ever imagine – better than the inspiration photo. The compliments keep coming, with how stunning the dress is. And it is so true! I couldn’t imagine a more gifted person than Ellen making my dress, and I am so grateful she is part of my wedding...

Ellen is magic. First, my wedding gown, Ellen’s work was absolutely beautiful. I’m rather short and Ellen had my dress fitting me like a glove!! Not only that, she trained my MOH on how to do the bustle for the big day. Second, I bought a retrofete gown to change into later in the evening (no return, no refund, $500). This dress did not fit me at all. I brought it to Ellen for her to confirm yeah sadly you should try to sell it. Nope! Ellen, like out of Cinderella, started pinning straps, taking in the waist and length and made this gown fit me perfectly. I can’t thank her enough, and highly recommend Ellen’s couture for all brides to be!

Ellen is top notch, a true artist in her work! She altered my highly complex, fully beaded wedding dress and it was a masterpiece! I was impressed with her attention to detail and craft, extremely high quality. She is a bit pricey but when you are talking about spending thousands on a wedding dress, I'd say it is worth the investment. She quoted me over email and the final price only ended up being slightly higher due to new work that needed to be done after the quote was given. Ellen is also really responsive over email/phone, accommodating, and works on timeline (she finished my dress before three months and over four total fittings within that time frame - she always completed the next round of work before each fitting). 5 stars, would highly...
