Eyelash extensions perfect 4 tonight — Local services in New York

I recently had came here to get eyelash extensions for a formal party. Being that this was my first time I didn't know what to expect. I was greeted by this woman, Thais, who were going to do my extension. She was very comforting and sat down to discuss exactly what I wanted, and the type of look I expected. Before she started, she made sure everything was sanitized, and made sure I was comfortable before she started. The finished product was AMAZING. It couldn't have looked anymore natural and real! She uses high quality lashes and gave me exactly what I wanted ! She was quick, did a full set in an hour and a half and was gentle, didn't even feel a thing. I used to have long and full natural eyelashes, I don't know if the hormones, age, stress, whatever it came with time made me loose most of them and have thin, short eyelashes. I have big expressive eyes, what makes me feels even more the lack of my eyelashes. When I walked into the room to get eyelash extensions, I was very afraid I could leave looking TOO feminine, or simply looking like a drag queen, what I actually love when it comes to do it, but for the everyday style I like to have a little less. I just realized I’m kind of getting scammed for my lash refills. At first they were really nice, so I’ve been coming back for about a month now. Very expensive though, and the lashes fall out quickly. Today I woke up with huge yellow flakes all over my eyes…I don’t think I’ll come back anymore. Sad because I thought I found a good local spot :( I don’t think the girl cares about the health of my lashes as long as I pay 90 dollars every week :(

Update, I got them done Friday for my gallery opening. It’s early Sunday morning and I’m waiting for the salons near me to open so I can remove them. Sad waste of 94...
