I have no idea what's going on with the prices here lately but it is absolutely astronomical. As understanding as consumers can be with everything going up in price, $5.35 for a plain bagel with plain cream cheese is just unacceptable and unfathomable to me. It doesn't even cost that much in Manhattan. What I can say about this place is the workers are very pleasant, the atmosphere is nice, and the bagels are delicious.

However, ordering from here is a nightmare. No matter how close or far you live delivery is almost always an hour late (I once waited an hour and a half) and the food comes cold and soggy. So we stopped ordering. That, and one time I got a container of cream cheese that had mold in it. I didn't send it back because I felt bad making one of the delivery boys return to my house for it. And I found cream cheese in my fridge so it worked out anyway.

I can tell that most of the people who frequent this place are either out of towners or not neighborhood/New York natives. So they have no idea they're being hit over the head with such outrageously priced food. We most recently placed an order for a croissant, bagel, and juice just as a special treat. It came out to almost $20. That's when I knew the price gauging was getting ridiculous. Just this past spring, I feel like I paid much less for the same thing.

This isn't neighborhood friendly pricing. This isn't Manhattan or gentrified Brooklyn, this is a small working class neighborhood in Queens. I swear the cost of our most recent order boggled my mind so much I just had to write about it. Please regulate these prices they're insane!!! I feel like I'm going crazy watching the prices go up and up and up. And it's even crazier to me how no one else has noticed.

Again, nothing but lovely things to say about the staff. Whether on the phone or in person, they are always pleasant and friendly. I suppose someone can always come and say "it it bothers you that much, order/eat somewhere else" which is very valid and very true. We'll be doing that going forward but it is a shame as we really...

I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 10+ years. I normally never write reviews, honestly not a fan of this whole process. However, the owner at this location lacks all hospitality understanding.

In two different occasions, I called to put an order in for delivery, my order probably came out to $6-$7. They called me back 30+ minutes later to tell me that they can not deliver the order because it has not reached their $10 minimum. I said your joking right, you could have told me this when I placed the order over 30 minutes ago. I continued to say to them, that thats unforgivable and I will ordered elsewhere.

The second time, most recently. I called for a deliver order and my order was at $9.78c (.22c short of $10) which led them to say they won’t deliver my meal and that they will charge me the .22c to complete the $10 order.

I grew up learning how to deal with customers and that when you work with them, they will always continue to be a customer. Imagine I never ordered again! That .22c would cost you a lot more down the road. You can provide good food but when you lack the understanding on business and customer service, success isn’t...

Dropped in for a cup of coffee and a bacon egg and cheese on a everything bagel. Almost left because they were a little busy, but noticed they take COVID 19 precautions very seriously so i stayed and waited and I am glad I did. The food was great but the service was just as pleasant, I was in and out although they were busy and I noticed staff interesting with the regulars by name, being extremely polite and some order were already prepared by the time one person was even able to order. Can't wait to get to one of those regulars, will save me time for my morning commute. Overall this is a great place especially if you prefer starting your day with a hot cup of coffee a nice sandwich and smiles all around from strangers, i cant attest for anything else as that has been my experience thus far I'm sure they have much more beverages/food items.... hope this helps, and if you read this far into the review you might as well go check it out it will be worth it, I personally wouldn't waste this much time on anything I don't think is...

We've been looking forward to try this place since the signs went up during renovation. Been going out less, so just noticed it was open last week. Hah! Finally tried it today. It may not replace our fav spot in Astoria but this is more than great for those lazy weekends when we just wanna stay in the neighborhood. Got a variety of things to try today from sausage egg and cheese to flavored cream cheese to just plain flavored bagels. The sesame, cheddar and garlic bagels were chewy with a nice crust. Oddly, the plain was bit softer but maybe it was coz of the multiberry cream cheese filling? The berry cream cheese was bit too smooth almost buttery, would prefer it less churned and chunky. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood. We'll definitely be back to try the french toast bagel (ran out today), other spreads and sandwiches.

I’m giving 3 stars owner/ management pricing doesn’t make sense I’m a regular and first time ordering bagel with cream cheese is $4.36 I asked to add 2 flavors 1 on each side and small tea my order came out to $9.20 why is the up charge for another flavor $2.25 I feel like let the customers know it’s going to be $7.20 for cream cheese and bagel while a protein omelette with a side of bagel toasted is $7.75 🤔 I only ordered that because the cook had just arrived and would be another 10 mins other than that love the place but I cnt order that anymore that’s too much Edit : owner spoke with me and he explained the miscommunication and apologized.

I’ve been coming here since their opening. I love their bagels and their delicious, filling sandwich options. I’ve had plenty of bacon egg and cheese and ham egg and cheese here on everything bagels. Today I got “ The Sammy” on everything. They have such a varied selection, I tried to take photos of their rotating menu options. There’s a variety of cream cheese and other spreads, along with danishes, muffins, and other sweets. They also carry (Maspeth local) Hal’s potato chips and seltzer products. You can come in and place your order, or you can order ahead for pickup. Either way, keep supporting our Ridgewood locals! 💕
