FedEx Office Print & Ship Center — Local services in New York

Would have given this zero stars, but am required to put at least one.

Do not go to this store. They are understaffed and despite correcting the woman behind the counter 3 times, she still printed the incorrect address on the label for the package that I was shipping.

Since the address was incorrect they were unable to deliver. They then took it upon themselves to Google what they thought was the correct address without consulting me first. Obviously, they were unable to deliver because it was the wrong address they had Googled, they finally contacted me. I then told them where it should be delivered.

Once the recipient finally received the package, the package had been torn open, the inside packaging torn open and the contents taken out. The package had then been taped back up with clear packing tape to reseal it.

Awful experience in this shop, with FedEx and with the claims department as well. They gave misleading information and then turn you into the bad guy when trying to get back what was taken from you. I will personally never use FedEx. The business I work for has two locations in Manhattan as well and we will stop using FedEx for business immediately as well.

Awful customer service. I got there 20min before closing. Waited for my turn and when I finally got there, explained what I need printed to the agent, the super unprofessional and rude manager approached him saying that I would only have 4 min then I would have to leave and go to another store because it’s 4min till their closing time. She never addressed me, and basically was kicking me out. I was already sending my files to the agent and have engaged. I have never heard of a business that would kick you out, a paying customer, while you’re still engaged (ie: kick you out of a restaurant while eating!). Absolutely terrible. Would never recommend this...

FedEx should be embarrassed by this location. I tried shipping my daughter her medicine today and was met by “this is a controlled substance we cannot ship it” by someone who clearly was misinformed because I have had to ship my epileptic 10 year old her medication more than once since her schooling in NYC was interrupted by COVID. There are truly some people out there whose sole purpose is to make others’ lives more difficult and FedEx has been keen on hiring such person. Incredible!
