Iāve come into this Foot Locker on 4 different occasions within 3 months. Each time I intended to purchase footwear and socks however the customer service is unfortunately poor as well as the cleanliness of the space. They oftentimes stack boxes at the front of store- assuming theyāre receiving shipment but itās always sloppily placed and in the way. The first time I came in, I was excited as I was new to the community and looking forward to seeing my local footlocker as I have great experiences at the Kids Footlocker on Fulton St/Nostrand Ave. I came in, said hello at least 3 times to only be stared at by every employee with no reply. It was a rainy day, no customers and I needed a pair of socks- they told me they didnāt have the pair of standard black Nike socks only for me to look and find it myself. A tall-athletic Hispanic looking gentleman who appears to be a manager rang me up and told me the āwe donāt have itā but was also unresponsive when I politely said āthank youā at check out. Terrible customer service. In a world where e-commerce is king, I implore the employees to try a bit harder to give better service. I knew my size, didnāt even need to try them on. Was just ready to drop a few hundred. Instead I was completely ignored. A guy literally saw me try to get his attention and then walked away. Trashy kids running around everywhere was the cherry on top. I left and will spend my $300 at Jack Rabbit instead, they have fantastic customer service. I was not approached, I was not asked if I needed help or anything. I have to find my sneakers and the ask someone to get my size.
What bothers the most is that the staff are minorities but seems only to cater to none minority mostly. The spend quit a few minutes with him, until he left with out a purchase.
