I’ve got to be honest . I don’t usually even write reviews but here we go. The food is actually pretty solid. It taste fresh and has a decent amount of flavor to every dish, but the service is pretty bad. The employees look annoyed when you tell them when you want( “I'm sorry for asking for food from your establishment” is how they make me feel every time). They are impatient (even during a slow end of the night service) when I ask them questions they respond with quick , mumbly answers and get annoyed when I say “hey can you repeat that again”. I literally asked one of the female workers “what kind of bean is that “ to which she responded with the name of the dish (the bean is not in the name). I then asked again and she gave me the same answer leading me to believe she was never listening to the question . I then had to sternly say it even louder “ ok but what kind of bean is that” she finally answered . And to top it all off the portion size was disappointing . Especially for those on diets where we are in need of a decent portion of protein. Now I’m a reasonable man, I don’t want the entire container of food, and I understand a business needs to make a profit, but the skimpy amount of chicken I was served was very disappointing. Making me feel as if I had wasted my money on a meal because it did not serve the nutritional purpose for consumption. I mean not even a small handful was served . Anyway, 3 stars because at least the food taste decent and feels fresh. Hoping to have a different more pleasant experience next time. Ohh and the...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for Dig especially the locations at 1297 Lexington Ave and 1407 Broadway. The food is always fresh and nourishing, but what truly sets these places apart is the people, especially the manager.
From the moment I walked in, I felt seen and valued. It’s rare these days to find someone in a leadership role who truly caresnot just about the food, but about the people walking through those doors. You can feel it in the way the team moves, how guests are treated, and how the space feels like home.
At both locations, I’ve been greeted with kindness and patience, even during busy hours. The manager goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome, and you can tell their presence has a ripple effect on the whole team.
It’s more than just a meal, it’s an experience that leaves you feeling better than when you walked in. I’m genuinely grateful for the warmth and care I’ve experienced every time. Thank you for creating something special. I’ll definitely be back...
Read moreJust lovely. I was very pleasantly surprised by the flavors. Even the brown rice was not the usual bland filler; their brown rice actually had a hint of some delicate but perceivable spice. The kale cashew caesar salad is amazing, with just the right added kick. Seriously, the flavors made it a whole mindful eating experience. I came there to do some work but found myself focusing on the food a lot because it deserved a pause and reflect! So many of these bowl places seem to just throw food together without regard to what goes together. Dig Inn offers a matching variety of QUALITY (they are farm to table) choices. I had a vegetarian meal, but there were lots of great options for meat eaters, too. I left quite FULL and it was really affordable. Service was great. There was a long line because it was around 6:30pm but it moved quickly. Definitely a great value - but not because it's cheap food- rather, because you get delicious, healthy food for...
