I’m writing to express deep frustration, as I was traveling home I fell a sleep shortly before the last stop to wake up underground and the only passenger on the train. I walk through the trains because I'm thinking I can’t be this crazy to be the only one and I was the only one the train sat there for roughly 10 to 15 min before going back towards Manhattan This was the R train heading towards 71 and forest hills you can see me getting off the train around 5:50pm from coming from underground when it was heading back towards Manhattan. This situation have to be the most traumatic situation that any one can experience I almost had a panic attack I have asthma there no way I should been in this situation when the train got to 71 and forest hill MTA staff should of did a thorough check of every train cars. There’s should be no way it’s acceptable for the trains not to be checked that everyone is off the train I now see how homeless people are able to sleep though the trains overnight no one checks them. When the last stop came they should have walk the train to make sure everyone was off the train regardless if it was heading back towards that direction. Or completely out of service, MTA want to raise prices on fairs but can’t find a proper system to ensure the safety of passengers it wasn’t safe for me to even be underground in between stations like that. Someone really need to look into passenger safety and people being left on the trains because it’s evident no one...

There are a couple of cool and trendy stores, restaurants, banks, beauty parlors, medical offices, a movie theater (which is the Regal UA Midway Theater) if you want to see some good movies that are showing and of course a concert venue nearby (which is Forest Hills Stadium) if you want to go see some good shows live in person!!! Also, I found and picked up a couple of lucky money and empty bottles and cans with the 5 cent deposit on the ground at the station and upstairs on the street level...
Read moreWhat's to say, it's a Subway station, it's hot, it smells. All that being said you can catch a train here that will ( with transfers) get you to just about anywhere in New York and the lower 48.
This place is decently clean as compared to some others I've been in, it's definitely well protected with police officers all over the place, when something like a terrorist attack happens just about anywhere in the world, you will see police dressed in full combat gear with automatic weapons at the ready, so I personally feel very safe especially traveling late at night thanks to the men and women...
